Writing to exFAT Drive

Writing to exFAT Drive

I've just spent hours backing up one of my hard drives on a brand new HDD, and now discover that it was formatted in exFAT. Apparently this doesn't have a "Security" function, and I have been unable to persuade it to let Steem write to it. Other applications (Photoshop etc) don't have any such problem.

Removing "Read Only" in the "Properties" window of the folder, or using the Command line "attrib -r j:\*.* /s" doesn't work. Can anyone advise me?
