Titles that can't be imaged
The following titles can’t be imaged correctly, or at all, with the current release of the Pasti Imaging tool.
Great Giana Sisters
Power Drift (retail Activision release only)
Spack
X-Out
Some other titles, like Turrican or several Readysoft ones are troublesome to image. They might require multiple attempts, sometimes failing on all of them.

Same with STAC
PASTI cannot create an image of my STAC original
(Sync error on track 40 which is the track where is the protection)

Indus also known as Megadeth (Pendragons/Prism) or Hardosoft (X-Factor/MAD).

Lethal Xcess Beta and Turbobooster
I can verify that neither the Turbobooster (our copy program) nor the Lethal Xcess beta can be imaged with Pasti.
I got hold of these for a few hours and made several attempts to image them, none of them was successful.
Unfortunately there is no method to copy these disks and the Lethal Xcess beta is also the last existing copy of it.
Both protections use a very similar technique, which required a hardware hack to be created with an ST. Its completely different from the copy protection in the final version of Lethal Xcess.
Any recommendations?

Re: Lethal Xcess Beta and Turbobooster
Exactly what kind of error, and on which track(s), you get when trying to image those disks?cxt wrote:I can verify that neither the Turbobooster (our copy program) nor the Lethal Xcess beta can be imaged with Pasti.
Or you don't get any error but the image doesn't work?
LXS beta and Turbobooster
None of the images works
The images of LXbeta are differing at least in size.
The Turboboster image gives errors on Track 80 (too many weak sectors)
I tried to image only tracks 0-79 since the program is quite short, this can be done successfully but the image doesn't work anyway...

Re: LXS beta and Turbobooster
Hi cxt,
I won't distribute any image. So there is no need to worry in case you don't want to make them public.
Please send me the images. You can send them as attachments here in a Private Message. Or email me at the email address on my website.cxt wrote:None of the images works

Yes, this can happens sometimes. Send me the partial non-working image of tracks 0-79. I will tell you then how to image the problematic track. The Turboboster image gives errors on Track 80 (too many weak sectors) I tried to image only tracks 0-79 since the program is quite short, this can be done successfully but the image doesn't work anyway...

Re: Titles that can't be imaged
I could be mistaken, but I believe that the following titles cannot be imaged or copied, due to physical marks burned into the disk surface.
MIDImouse Music series:
Note Wizard
Scale Master
Chord Magic
Rhythm Time

Re: Titles that can't be imaged
I remember that LDW Power had the same sort of "problem"
Also has anyone managed to get Xenon 2 disk b working? Had two copies, both goes well with Pasti but doesn't work with Steem
