But I can't open the disks.
What format have you used to convert them? I'm at the office, so I don't have access to my usual tools, but Steem, jaymsa or MSAConverter refuse to open the MSA disks

I can't get any of the .MSA files to work in STEEM either - alos I tried wrting a few back to sisk using MSA, but although the files appear on the disk, I get TOS Error when trying to run any of the PRGs.

I'll try some on my actual atari in a sec, got some work to do first though

How?! I didnt pack them and just used MSA 2.23 as usual.....I did put COMPRESSION ON, but then I always do and have not had problems before.

tried the files in Hatari, crashed.

then tried Saint.. works. but i think the images isnt really proper. so an re-image is a good idea anyhow.

not sure why this msa 2.3 etc got popular as its not way close as good as old msa 1.41 (shadow).

Also it convinces me that FastCopy is still the best tool to image disks (then convert the .DIM files with MSAConverter).

All MSA disks were corrupted, so Tronic have removed them.

Something strange is going on here -- none of the disks in the ZIp above boot at all in Hatari.

Maybe you should try imaging from a different floppy drive?

Sorry to say, but files are corrupted, once again

On your configuration, something corrupts the data during the transfer.

Can you do me a favour? May I ask to image one disk only without compression?

This is not correct, MSA usually starts with a header "0E 0F" (at least, that's what Hatari expects).
What version of MSA did you use ? Maybe try an older one, this one seems to compress data with something else than RLE (or there was a problem when you transferred the file from your ST to your PC)

Why not just use the pasti image tool, more straightforward to use.
