Wanted: Introducing Atari ST Machine Code

Post by Stfmmer »

Was hoping someone might sell it to me for £10+P&P in the UK???

Covers a LOT of GEM stuff and would like to get hold of it in the UK for less than £15+P/P and without using amazon lol
Anyone willing?

Looks like this...

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the information regarding the disk online!

ST-Freakz: If I get the book I'll hold you to that offer :P

Re my earlier post:

£20 for an ST Book (Thats £15+P&P) is very high IMHO. And I did mention I didn't want to pay Amazon prices

I used to have this book and found it very user "unfriendly" to be honest. There were definitely much better books out there for leaning 68000 Assembly.

I don't know, I had it years ago and it covered a LOT of GEM assembly programming... Thats kinda all i remember. Im in no way any kind of 'C' coder and wanted to explore some GEM application programming.

As it goes I might have to bite the bullet and use amazon (the betting shop)

Try here. There is introductory material by Abacus.

The Abacus book on machine language is horrid. Bad translation, lame contents. It's really not worth the paper on which it's printed. I learned more about assembly on the ST by reading online tutorials than that "book."
