Back from Jagfest 2005 ..

Post by Mug UK »

And a damn good time was had by all....

I'll upload some proper HTML-based thumbnails and stuff soon, but for now, here's the pics I've taken.

http://www.mikemee.plus.com/Jagfest2005

More pics from the other attendees (inc. one of myself and the most excellent Chinese "all you can eat" buffet):
http://bbs.jagfest.org.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=75

More will be added soon once the other attendees upload their pictures to the Jagfest forum.

Although not strictly totally Jagfest, it was nice watching a Dreamcast run DC Castaway and playing Chaos Engine :)

Sole Calibur (intentional mis-spelling) was hilarious fun - my shoulder still aches today!
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Looks like a great time was indeed had by all! :)
Sorta wish I had been there, although I would never have come close to winning the "Muguk lookalike" contest, first prize for that was taken by some dude who could only be his long lost twin brother:

Guess what discount you might have got off Nick @ 1632 Systems has just gone for a burton too!

Yes, the first of those was a stupidly small starter-plate, which looked out of place when the rest of you came back with heaped plates!

And who ate all the crispy duck, eh? ;-)

This ones surely deserving of a caption competition?

I can think of several although nothing suitable for a family orientated publication like this. 8O

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then what about some moving pictures?

Here's a little video to give you a flavour of the Jagfest '05, at the Medway Hotel in Rochester. For those of you who were there, I'm sure it will stir some memories, especially for people called Nick!

Please excuse the slightly 'rough' look in places, that will teach me not to use a cheapo sdram card in my camera in future!

.MOV = Quicktime so as long as you've got the K-Lite Codec pack installed, you'll have Quicktime.

Thanks to Linkovitch (on Jagfest forum), I've moved all my pics to a new server and there's comments (you can add your own too, but I'll probably delete the un-funny ones from Retrogamer!) :)

http://pictures.mug-uk.co.uk/gallery/vi ... gFest-2005

Will be adding more galleries from Retrovision and BIT Lite up there over the weekend.

Would I be so childish as to write un-provoked offensive messages about anyone Mike? :?
I think you have me confused with someone else, try looking in the large mirror. ;)

Anyway, I can't even log in, or find where to register, so unless someone could kindly direct me to such a place of registration you can relax.
