Oh, so you can't delete your own posts...
In fact, if you copy the edit post link (http://www.atari-forum.com/posting.php? ... 0&p=159969) and change "edit" to delete, you get a message saying "You cannot delete posts in this forum." ... boo-urns.

Re: Retro Resource Edits
If there's any posts that need deleting, just ask. Can't remember why that decision was made but it was done a long time ago and not by me (from what I remember)

My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).
I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Re: Retro Resource Edits
Ah OK, that I can fix if it's just not available in particular sections. Shows that it's not a forum policy but a local preference per section. Give me an example of where you can (as I'll pretend to be you when testing this out) and I know this one doesn't allow deletions.wongck wrote:some sections can, while some sections can't.

Re: Retro Resource Edits
The "For Sale/Wanted" sections allows you to delete the post.
The "Falcon/TT Professionals" don't.

Re: Retro Resource Edits
OK, I've looked at the settings for both those sections and they're the same. As are the group settings for all Registered Users .. so I've asked someone else for help

Re: Retro Resource Edits
No real hurry.... so long as the forums works, I'm happy.
