Oh, so you can't delete your own posts...

In fact, if you copy the edit post link (http://www.atari-forum.com/posting.php? ... 0&p=159969) and change "edit" to delete, you get a message saying "You cannot delete posts in this forum." ... boo-urns.

If there's any posts that need deleting, just ask. Can't remember why that decision was made but it was done a long time ago and not by me (from what I remember)

Ah OK, that I can fix if it's just not available in particular sections. Shows that it's not a forum policy but a local preference per section. Give me an example of where you can (as I'll pretend to be you when testing this out) and I know this one doesn't allow deletions.

The "For Sale/Wanted" sections allows you to delete the post.
The "Falcon/TT Professionals" don't.

OK, I've looked at the settings for both those sections and they're the same. As are the group settings for all Registered Users .. so I've asked someone else for help
