Ok this has nothing to do with atari, but here goes.. I recently bought an EeePC that I use (among other things) as an MP3 player in my living room. I have testet Winamp but the screen and resolution is too low to really work with winamp, and with a huge mp3 libraray it doesnt work that well. I have also tried Itunes but that has it's quirks and problems too. Any tips or ideas what I can use, I want something that displays the embedded graphics in the mp3 files, looks good, and is easy enough for anyone to use..

foobar is your best bet...
it is a barebones player that is very light on resources.
However it is expandable via plugins and scripts.
so simple foobar looks like this:

but through customization yo ucan make it look like this:

I can't get the skins for foobar to work correctly, and I cant find any good info on how or why it's not working. More sugestions are welcome, it does not have to be a freeware or shareware program. I am willing ro buy one if I have to. But It has to be good looking and easy to use, like a jukebox, kinda.

try the auiogenic forums...there are very easy step by steps.
There are a couple of readymade packages available aroudn hte net...
but the creators of foobar do not like those copies floating around so I won;t link to them.

XBMC is quite pretty and flexible, and comes with a bunch of plugins (including some VGM stuff, probably YM/SID/etc). Also cross-platform, although it didn't quite suit me on OS X (I wanted to play PSF2s).

i have one called "audio station" it was released years ago and works on xp...
also includes midi file player too!
