Huh, I got out my camera and got ready to move a little junk out of the way to make it appear that I lived in a clean, tidy house, then realised that the camera battery was completely dead, for the first time since I've had it  Only when you get up off your arse to do something...

Here we go then!

First, a picture of my ceiling which proves the usefulness of static electricity (to store small plastic bags there for up to a minute or so... obviously of critical importance):
Image

The ST, Falcon and old Linux box (the LCD monitor is shamefully hooked up to the Linux box at the mo because I was writing/running some genetic programming experiments on it a while back). Note the LAPD bootsector in mono:
Image

The Centurbo-II'ed Falcon up close with SCSI external drive:
Image

My main laptop (there's an old Acer laptop on the table, but it's big and pretty lame now), and some clever engineering work my girlfriend did on the buggy (I stick the loop around my foot and kick/retract the thing to get the wee one to sleep, while typing away on the laptop :D):
Image

The TV/PS2/laser printer (there's a 3-in-1-also-sadly-Lexmark-but-wireless-and-mostly-works printer upstairs too)/stb/phone base/cable modem/wireless router/dvd hard disk recorder... (sorry, Captain Planet, I failed you). Note the ntl box on wooden blocks since the DVDR seems to be affected by heat:
Image

And the keyboard upstairs beside the Falcon (with a second-hand Tungsten T3), which I haven't bothered connecting via midi yet, and placed the book I received with it (thanks Paul) on the stool as a reminder of my laziness:

I don't have any pictures of my workspace and in any case it's not very interesting anyway :) I'll just treat you to a picture of my work in progress walk in closet/computer- and videogame collection. One corner of the closet is now done so I snapped a pic of it, enjoy :)

Crap, that's one nice looking cupboard-o-doom!

I had a lot of retro stuff up untill lately when I downsized to afford my new computer. :(

Here's what (mess) I've got going on right now:

Awful clutter everywhere.. it's not usually this bad!!
Image

I really need to make a proper desk for all the consoles plus the ST/A500 setup!
Image

The remainder of my game collection :( I'm buildoing it back up though! Honest!
Image

Here's a (bad) picture of an Arcade stick I built recently for the PC/Xbox 360.
Image

And a better picture of that.
Image

My loft is far more interesting but you can't really take photos in there.. much less get in there!! :)

Joel - what's that keyboard in the first photo? It's super slimline, and would save me a couple of vital centimeters of desk space!

That's one of the newer Apple keyboards. That's a wired one but you can get wireless variants (never been a fan of those though). It's a joy to use and those extra centimeters (whatever those are ;)) make all the difference!

Ah - it's an apple keyboard. Should have guessed from the logo on the monitor!

Oh well, as a PC user I'm missing out on quality peripherals - again.

Not to mention a quality computer and OS (especially if you're using Vista. SUCK!)

Of course, it works just as well with a PC, you just have to get used to either using a slightly different key config using the Apple layout or you can just use the standard PC layout if you can touch type ;)
