Vixen signed poster

Post by Cronos »

I was recently cleaning up some boxes and found a 55x38 cm poster of the Martech game Vixen, signed in black ink by Page 3 Vixen model Corinne Russell!
Although it's folded 4 times, it's pretty cool and I figured if anyone's interested they can contact me. I tried to patch together a pretty big scan of it, not perfectly, which can be found at http://www.karsmakers.nl/vixen.png !

I still remember this weird story...
For the german market they had to re-name the game because "Vixen" and "Wichsen" sound very similar,
and the later one is a word that might make some folks upset - so the new title was "She Fox".

I had to google "Wichsen" translation. Now I see why. Well it kinda makes sence :)

I remember seeing this in the German gaming magazine PowerPlay in late 1988 or early 1989 as a full page ad. As a 9 year old I found it "interesting" but couldn't make much of it at that age. How innocent I was...

In the mean time the poster had been claimed, so no need to PM me anymore. But I'll keep the link to the picture up.

I once had that poster lol. Memories!!!
Thing is, I'm sure I was using the spectrum then. Bought it with my birthday pennies I think. Can't remember playing the ST game though. Must fix that...
