Awesome. Even more so when I can get access to my real hardware which is self isolating at the moment.

Very small game window on Hataroid so I'll see what Hatari on the laptop looks like.

Music reminds me of Clax title music. Looks great...

Cool. Looks like a variation of Marble Madness.

It would be great if you could use the Atari Trackball with this!

Hi! After a long time I have created a new account here!!!*
Finally back!
I realized that I never officially introduced my new game Randomazer here!
Happy to see that someone already discovered it!

If you have not played it, get your marbles rolling! Brand new game – No port! No Ramake! A crazy action puzzler that is different every time you play it!
With graphics by Sébastien Larnac “STS” and Music by xFalcon!
And its ATARI STe/Falcon exclusive!

Boxed Version here: https://www.bitmapsoft.co.uk/product/randomazer/
Download here: www.hd-videofilm.com/randomazer

If you have not seen it, check out this review by “the Joy of Sticks” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emIeD9HH0B4

And if you get frustrated with stubborn marbles check out the “Advanced Marbletactics” Series https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJsMA8QdKQc
Or this full playthrough of all 50 Levels https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHuJ16Jdu-0

Have FUN!!!

I played few of the first levels. Some comments:
* Really nice game
* Joystick doesn't work with EmuTOS. Please use documented ways of accessing joystick data
* Please add some way to finish countdown for different point types at end of each level, e.g. by pressing <space> or mouse/joystick button
(while it's a cute effect the first few times, possibility to skip it after that would be appreciated)

Oh! Thanks for the hint on EmuTOS!
You are right: I am using a kind of patch to access the joystick. This is necessary to sneak around some limitations on simultaneous use of mouse+joystick.
That said: I just tested it with EmuTOS (ATARI STe on Steem SSE, latest version EmuTOS 1.0) and it worked fine, as expected. I can not reproduce your problem. Hmmm...
Have you checked that mouse/joystick is selected as the control options? Not Jagpad or keyboard?
Mouse is supposed to go into port 0, joystick to port 1 (usual configuration)

About point counting in: I have gotten this request from several sides already. It is on my list. I might add this to a future update.

Enjoy Playing!

Sorry, my mistake! I hadn't noticed the configuration at the game start, and for some stupid reason thought that one should be able to use any of the input methods mentioned in the beginning of the level.

I think installing your own IKBD handler is the standard / documented way to do that. My own 2-player game (from 90's) does it to so that users don't need to care whether they have 2 joysticks or none: http://eerott.mbnet.fi/hatari/programs.shtml#punssi

You might be happy to hear, that your feature request is now ready for download, together with some other enhancements in version 1.00d! :D

Thanks, I (finally) tried v1.00e, and it works great! This is really polished game.

EDIT: Besides STE, I tried it also under Hatari ST, TT and Falcon emulation, and under ST emulation it was agonizingly slow. You're really punishing people who haven't gotten a Blitter. :-)

Nice timing for me taking falcon out of storage!

Great game - nice to see something original too. It’s rather hard though (or I’m useless!)

Haha! Yes! Randomazer for sure needs an STe or higher (or ST with Blitter) to scroll around the big playfields.

If you struggle with bigger levels check out the “advanced marble tactics” series on my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJsMA8QdKQc

And stay tuned for Randomazer V1.01 coming in November: 10 Additional levels, new graphics and music
