Forgotten game again

Post by Utter »

I was here a few days ago asking about a game, i found it (Rubicon) and now im back to find yet another since this forum seems to give the quickest answers.

So here's what i remeber:
You played as a young kid, maybe an elf, and you had a tiny sword or dagger. It was set in a castle of some sort and you were fighting bats among other things, including some sort of knights with armor. It was a platform game and there were elevators that took you to the ramparts(?).

Im sorry if this is all abit fuzzy written, but i try to write anything i can remember.
Its understandable if noone can figure out what game this is, but i would be more than greatful if anyone could help me. :)

Allthough I can't remember any elevators.... it sounds strikingly similar to Wonderboy in monsterland

It really reminds me of it, but its not that one. Graphics were abit more advanced, and he held his sword by his waist.

I feel like were getting closer and closer. However, it was more of a medieval kind of game.

There are two games called Elf? One by Tynesoft (I think) and the other was a much more polished affair from Ocean.

Not got the Atari Legend links to hand as in work and everything is watched :(
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Does anyone seem to remember an in depth game search facility somewhere or have I imagined it?

Im fairly certain I have seen one before - perhaps in mame?

Anyway, it would be great to have one with lots of extras to search for ie:

Character Definition: robot/man/woman/etc
World Description: medieval/future/forest/etc
And extra tags: dagger/bats/etc
