Approving posts
Hi guys,
As you can tell I'm very new here (but not in the Chiptune community, just always thought the Atari Forums were too elite for a newbie like me :P).
Anyway, I posted in this topic and I got a message saying my post should be approved by a mod - that was quite a few days ago now, just wondering if you could kindly approve it? :)
Cheers,
Sam

Approved .. both this one and the one that no-one else spotted - oops

My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).
I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Even though I seem to be excessively busy I did used to Admin 8bc.org until the very end. So if you're ever looking for extra staff I'd be happy to helpwongck wrote:Just need more eyes for new posting...

Re: Approving posts
I have some posts that need approving too. Got on thread through the mod lock (thanks) but still stuck behind the wall waiting for the others to get through and for me to attempt to contribute

Re: Approving posts
Apologies from me as an admin but my network connection is playing up at the moment so I can't login to the moderator area to approve posts.

Hi,
Same here. I've got two posts, one in my wanted ad in my signature, and another which I've lost track where it was now that haven't been approved yet others have.

Re: Approving posts
Yes apologies here. I think all of us in the admin/mod team assume we will pick up all unmoderated posts simply by keeping an eye on the unread posts screen (where we see a notification symbol for unmoderated posts).
Unfortunately, this method doesnt appear to be too reliable as posts like this one proves.
I've posted to all the forum mods and asked if we all can make a habit of checking the moderation control panel instead of relying on the unread posts list.
I'll need to investigate further as I wonder whether this is affecting more than just the odd unmoderated post.
