For those interested in the Atari Robokit, I now have a site devoted to it. Check it out:

Well crap. I'm at work and their stupid filtering software won't let me go to your
site. Something about "Potentially damaging website". I suppose its possible, if
the robotic arm got away from you...

I'll check it out as soon as I get home. Thanks Dal.

Your company obviously uses websense filtering. I've sent a request to websense asking them to review the classification for me.

This is brilliant Dal. A nicely designed and clean site giving all the relevant information about the project/s. I think this is cool stuff, I look forward to you adding more to the site, it makes for good and interesting reading.

Yep, you got it in one. :)

Good job on the site, btw.

Nice update to the site. Hmm, didn't expect to find my name on the front page though. You should consider adding another button along the side labeled credits.

Fascinating stuff, could kick myself for not buying that kit back when it was easier to get.

Keep trolling the Ebay's Lonny. They do show up every now and then. I just got mine a few months
ago.

The Lego kits are just as difficult, IMHO. A 1032 is pretty easy to find and not too expensive. The
1090 on the other hand, can be very high. I think mine was $250.00.

The 1092 kit (which has hundreds of pieces), is listed at close to $1000.00 at many places. :(

PS Hunt around, you may get lucky - Dal got some good prices on his stuff.

Hmm, odd.

I can go to the tutorials section and download the software video, but I can't
download the hardware video.

With the video downloader software I use under Kubuntu Linux, I start a video
then I can download it.

I start the hardware video but it always shows the software video.

Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, just went straight to Youtube and downloaded it there. :)

Just got an email back from Websense, they have re-classified the site under Hobbies. The change should be filtered through soon.

Awesome! It's ridiculous, some of the stuff that gets filtered here. Just about anything German, nothing to do with gaming at all (I can't go to AtariAge,
for example). I think they operate on the "censor first, ask questions later" mentality. :)

Hey Dal I noticed on your main site that you wanted a SoundPool ADAT, but sadly I noticed too late that one had gone stupidly cheap the other week for about £11!! They pop up occasionally though so keep looking :)

Updated the wiki with magazine references I found on robokit, there's a couple of decent reviews if you don't already know about them.
