Atari ST Remix CD Finished

Post by accxess »

Hi!
After many years I (ACC:Xess) have finally managed to get my ST remix cd "Behind the Square" finished. It's a tribute to Jochen Hippel, but you will also find 2 songs by Wally Beben and Scavenger. Head over to http://www.c64audio.com to check it out. I hope you like it! Regards /Tobias

Thanks! :D

Did you get the two printable hires jpg files for the front and back of the cd? I'm not sure if Chris have had the time to put them in the zip file. If not give me your email and I will send them to you. Thanks again /Tobias

Right...well... the remixes are good but unfortunatly there is none of them who is really spectacular imho, but i do like that fact that jambala level 2 got remixed as i like that music :)
And the first 15 seconds of the Medusa has an amazing atmosphere... too bad those "synth" (melody) sounds ruined it a bit, i think using a "real instrument" sound could have fitted it well.

The worst thing with most of them is the use of sharp drumsounds... i'm a bit allergic to that, maybe more lowpass filter could have been added.

Sorry if all sound too negative :(

But i would really like to hear a remixed version of your "rings of medusa loader" remix :)

Just grabbed this - thought it was pretty darned good. I'm gonna burn it to an audio
CD, then take it to work just to confuse/confound/baffle/annoy (take your pick) my
Windows-centric co-workers... :D

Thanks for such a solid effort!

PS Hmm, didn't see any CD covers in the download.
