Searching: ScanX or ScanXPro Software (Microtek SCSI scanner)
Hello all,
found a new old toy of me, sitting in a dark corner of my storage room, my 1st good scanner... - a Microtek Scanmaker E330 flatbed SCSI scanner. Back in time I used it with Windows, but now the question was, can I use it with my TT?
So I am looking for a special scanner software for my TT. It's called ScanX or (better) ScanXPro. This one is the only one to support
See here, that is what I found when googleing at that scanner model plus ATARI: http://downloads.atari-home.de/Scene_De ... 07-02.html
As far as I understand, the ScanX version supports Microtek OR Umax scanners, depending on software version. ScanXPro supports both.
Does anybody have a copy of it?

@nagual, thanks, this looks promising, the readme talks about microtek and umax. I will test. (By the way, I am just 20 km away from you)
Anyhow, other (newer?) versions and the Pro are still welcome.

I use 1.13 for a Umax 1220S
I did contact the author only a few years ago on LinkedIn.

Back in the day I bought a UMAX Astra 2400s hoping it was backward compatible, but it turned out not to be the case. Contacted Nima and he quickly added support. Somewhere I have debug builds of ScanX that dump lots of internal data. Unfortunately, my TT030 is still in storage.

Hey it's a really nice to find a fellow Atari fan in der Nähe1st1 wrote:(By the way, I am just 20 km away from you)

If you want we can go to beer/coffee/you named it...
And I'm actually now in Mühlheim am Main....
About newer version - unfortunately I didn't found any new releases or ScanxPro

But if someone have ScanXPro it will be really nice to share with us

Cheers!

Ah, Mühlheim, I often pass it when riding to work by bike. (and I have far away relatives over there (buggelisch Verwandtschaft) ) My job is at the opposite side iof the river, originally I am a Bieberer Sandhaas but I live in the Kreis(el)stadt. Currently Homeoffice, but a beer or Äppler sounds fine to meet! How about Käsmühl?

I'm also currently Homeoffice, at the normal time working in Heusenstamm

So, I'm free as a bird, just tell me when

I'm not sure if Käsmühl open ?
Cheers!

Re: Searching: ScanX or ScanXPro Software (Microtek SCSI scanner)
Heusenstamm, that's next to me. Nice. I hope Käsmühl will open soon, Buffibear announced the repopening of restaurants. Otherwise, a bottle of beer, everywhere possible...
