Yeah I've created an .STL and 3D-printed a plate specifically for the included USB port extender (replace its metal plate).

Re: Lightning VME is here
After finding that my old MiNT set-up doesn't work now that I have 68MB RAM I've installed the last EasyMiNT and added the latest MiNT kernel and now have the networking operational on there.susher wrote:I tried it with the USB enabled version of UIPtool under TOS, yes. There are drivers for STiNG and MiNT on the Lightning VME support floppy too.
The speed's a bit low though. Lynx is downloading at about 16KB/s!
Re: Lightning VME is here
I don't have any benchmarks with MiNT at hand but under TOS (with the STinG drivers) we measured 145 kByte/s.susher wrote:susher wrote: The speed's a bit low though. Lynx is downloading at about 16KB/s!

Re: Lightning VME is here
Right, I have added the new drivers to Mint and working fine, in fact the USB to Ethernet is a little more reliable.
Question, how do I use the printer in Mint?

Re: Lightning VME is here
guys, what happened to wiki.newtosworld.de? Wanted to look at the Lightning VME installation pics for TT, but the site is not accessible. www.newtosworld.de works fine. DNS record died for some reason maybe?
Re: Lightning VME is here
Got the information, i did a mistake and wrote the default dns zone file to newtosworlds dns entry. I fixed this, could maybe take several hours until it is available again
