The Floppy is powered from external power supply. DB9 would be nice, but those are on keyboard and would need long wire...
It could be splitted from the keyboard connector, but that needs crimping connectors and splitters and stuff --- feel free to do so, but i don't have the time for it.
For pickup the 5V power supply i have create small box with usb connector (with automatic reset fuse 100-250mA).

Looks good, but using an RJ12 splitter may be easier as those already have the housing, just replace one connector with a USB one. (i have some but it's too fiddly for me and still needs short cables that i don't have/don't have crimper to make -- or i should have bought ones with wire already attached)

Just to remind the features:
- ECL high-res mode with H-sync shift (easily fine-adjustable on any monitor)
- Switchable - HI-REZ or VGA mode without removing.
- 5V supply through USB mini B
- power on LED
- full plastic case

Oh, a bit of update to anyone who bought my adapter.
As no one seemed to have mentioned it, I've just discovered the plastic hole in the TT is a bit too tight for my adapter (at least on my computer) so it may not connect properly or break the TT's plastic (mine was broken already, so it wasn't too obvious).
BUT those lips are not really necessary, as the connector is soldered on by 10 pins to the PCB so should be able to be pulled out without problems.

To remove these the easiest way is to open the adapter (with flat screwdriver open the tabs) make some room by separating from the connector, and then just snap them off/break them off by a plier.
But if you don't want to open, you can cut it of by your tool of choice of course :)

Not sure, i have limited the current @ 200mA by autoreset fuse, what the power consumption of cosmosEX ?
