Yes 14MB is the maximum that the falcon can access but there are no 14MB SIMMs so you have fit a 16MB one.

Yes mine is a DJBase Atlantis board. I was thinking of selling it because with the Atlantis populated with my 16MB SIMM the metal shielding cannot be refitted.

Back in 2015 you could still get ones which don't use SIMMs (and thus the metal shield fits) from LynxMan over at Atari Age for around 55 Euro:

Yes. If the shop system shows you green or yellow for stock amount then it's available.
