Hello,
I would like to see a few adventure games such as cruise for a corpse and maybe a couple of shoot em ups. I admit I had thought of making such a patch through backwards but I couldn't find any info on how.
And since we come to the matter of patches if I am not mistaken you were a member of the Elite who had created a loader so one could play Steel Talons through a normal Joystick. Do you or anyone have it?

They are easy to get working on a h/drive if memory serves .. you just need to unpack the main .PRG and hex edit all the A:\ references out.

And what editor do you use for that?
Thanks

Well there's loads of hex editors about but I used to use KnifeST on the Atari and now use UltraEdit on the PC.

a:\picture.pi1 (and it will be followed by a 00 byte to denote the end of the filename string)
you change it to:
picture.pi1 and then replace the next 3 characters with 000000 in hex.
