I do !

I'm the programmer of this game, released some years ago as a Shareware.

Cannot send you right now, for the whole source code / executables are stored on my Falcon, sleeping 500 km from me ( and I hope it still works ), but if you're interested, I'll try to get it asap and send you the game.

Ok :) Be quite patient however, I won't grab it until my next holidays, at least a couple of months !

I'll also make "Fireforce" freely available. It was the first 'Official' Trigon Software game, some kind of "Dungeon Master" ( or Captive ), playable at three players at the same time on the same screen ( cooperative through 3 campaigns, or in deathmatch. I must admit that it was a kind of copy of Psygnosys' game "Hired Guns", on Amiga ).

Those two games were "a few" known in France. Blum has been tested in St Magazine ( an entire page for my game, I was quite proud :-), but it was understandeable, for no other Falcon plateform game was available at this time ), and the demo was released on the disk that went with the newspaper !

I'll do my best to grab my Falcon back as quickly as possible !

That's great news! :D

I remember Blum was also reviewed in Start Micro, I think a playable demo was on the mag's coverdisk too.

I don't remember Fireforce, was it a Falcon-only game?

Hmm.. I didn"t remember of an issue of Start Micro reviewing Blum.. I thought that Start Micro "sunk" earlier :-) But I might be wrong !

Fireforce was "theoricaly" just a Falcon Game, but I think it would have run on an STE ( without the musics however ) with 2 Mo of RAM, because I began its developpement on my old good STE :-). I must admit, it wasn't graphically awful ( 320 * 200 * 16 colors, for a Falcon game.. berk ! ), but I found it very fun. The game could be played from 1 up to 3 players. If a single player was playing, he had to control 3 differents soldiers at the same time - there were about 25 scenaristic missions ( 3 campaigns ), 15 "quick-launch" missions and 10 deathmatch maps... The game could be played with joystick, keyboard and Jaguar Gamepad. And the level editor was given ! Peoples who registered it loved it.. but they weren't very numerous :-(

Trigon also develloped another Crawler game, "Elfsong", which was my very first complet game.. but never released and totaly unknown :-) ( but not bad at all.. I'll try to find it asap I'll get my Falcon back ).

Rolsct: it would be great if you release your games as PD... that is just a small suggestion, of course ;)

blum - ever interested in

Post by MacFalcon »

Hi,

I think most falcon owners are interested
in new stuff and this includes games
of course ;-)

The main problem is, that many autors of
elder games did change their email-addresses,
if there is some written in the readme...

I tried to contact so many...

But nice to hear that at least YOU
are still here ;-)

Have a happy new year!

Cheers,

Mac
