About this old record, any news from displaying 32*32 sprite in 15 colors mister Leonard ? Maybe a new contest ?
Oh I just discover this is a demo I released myself !! :-) Well, this was confidential, as I never released "file based" demo. I don't know where you find that old stuff !

Anyway I know why it crash on emulators: I used my "PRG Protector". A stupid tool which put an anti-trace protection behind my demos, so you can't debug it. Unfortunatly it seems to fail emulators.

I guess this is exactly the same sprite record I put in my "Calimero-demo" demo.

Where I found it ? I've a lot of floppys (I discover stuffs again and again) and I found it recently. That's why I posted it here :wink:

Well, I've been very surprised that you can't remind this contest !
Oh of course I remember well my 32*32 4bitplans sprite record ! I just don't remember I relelased a simple file version of my program.

Anyway the 32*32 could be beaten I guess (more easyly than the actual 16*16 2bpl I guess)

Well, nice try with the Amiga sprite record. If only they used the same curve, without symmetry....

No doubt they can pull some good amount of sprites but let's compare apples and apples.

Hi just for the record, the file sprite.prg in this file oxg.zip is corrupted and doesn't even work on a real STF (I think it was read from a damaged floppy).
Use the file at https://demozoo.org/productions/67830 instead for a working version
