uiptool: remote execution demo

Post by sqward »

Me and Saulot have been working on new uiptool version for a while. It will be released in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime something for coders:

Really cool tool !
I appreciate the remote feedback from the running program.
What tool is required to work with Windows ?

Guillaume.

Oh wow! As soon as I saw the first minute I was thinking "Imagine how cool it would be to have remote debugging", and then bam! Log files. That's great stuff :)

Which sort of target debug data is provided back to the PC calling for the remote execution? GEMDOS console writes? BIOS console writes?

Both. Mainly BIOS but due to performance reasons Cconws is redirected at GEMDOS level.
