Repro boxes print ready artwork to be released

Post by Robson »

Hi,

You might know that over the years I made some repro boxes and other graphics that I'm willing to make available for anyone but not sure what is the best way to do this, since I don't have a well known and everlasting website for this. So maybe can be integrated to a bigger database.

from top of my head now...

- Falcon repro box
- STbook box
- Atari ST F/E/FM box - no model number so can be used for 520/1040 too (even falcons fit).
- repro sleeve for discovery Xtra
- repro stickers for 2x French packs

One condition: strictly be used as repro, so no alterations allowed.

Let me know what you think.

//I know it's not a 100% relevant topic but chat discussions not popping up in news. Sorry about this.

Thank you so much. I've wanted a reproduction sleeve for a while (I missed all the threads a few years ago about them). I thought the work might be lost but this is great.

I don't suppose you ever tried to make a reproduction "discovery pack" sleeve?

This sounds like an amazing service to the community! Maybe Curt Vendel over at atari-museum.com would be interested, or the guys at AtariAge?

At the very least the Atari Forum Wiki might be a good start

Hi All,

Here are the links. Please note that the French Power pack is only available on Google drive since is too big for Github upload (or it's just me).
Fair use please it's for you to enjoy!

Thanks for these excellent reproduction graphics!
I wonder if a "half width" box could be produced for the ST because the original polystyrene inserts were enormous. Cardboard inserts provided with modern computers are good enough to keep the ST on its side from pushing down on the reset button and connector ports.
Still got, still working: Atari 4Mb STe, 520STFM, 2.5Mb STF.
Hardware: Cumana CSA 354, Ultimate Ripper, Blitz Turbo, Synchro Express II (US and UK Versions).

Thanks.
In case you want to store the ST in the box it's fine, but for shipping 100% no from me. We all know how fragile the Atari plastic is and how parcels handled today. I made repro inserts in the past and wouldn't send an ST without anything less protective.

hello @Robson, I came across your quote and I saw that you had redone an attari in black and one in chrome.
can you tell me, how did you manage the keyboard keys?

For those I bought printable A4 stickers sheets and applied on the painted caps. However it's not the best solution.

Since then I made some clear sheets (photo below) that I use now and will redo the black keyboard at some point since it's much beter that way.
(Before you ask, I don't have any white for sale but I still have the sparrow style and some blue left, but these are available only in UK layout and only a few I'll have to keep some for myself)
