ste crashes/corrupted display

Hi all.

something a little strange today. The computer crashes on the desktop or the screen goes black or corrupts after about 3 minutes of use.

If I turn off and turn on again the screens all corrupted.

if i leave it for a few hours and then power on the ste works again for a few minutes then goes awry.

I did travel with it today and it is freezing cold in london so I was wondering if it may be something to do with the hot/cold changes in environment? I ask this because it always takes a few minutes before it goes weird..so maybe its a bit damp somewhere in the circuitry?

Sounds like a dry joint to me. Try reseating any socketed chips too.
