Hi.

Im in hunt for Protest v4.0. an old Disk Image tool..

infact im tryin to get all Disk Image tools from the past. what i got so far is:

ProGem 1.1A (1.0) + 3.2 - Pro***.DAT
ProRebel 1.0 + 1.2 - *.REB
JayMSA - *.MSA
MSA (1.03, 1.04 1.41) - *.MSA
TDE - *.MSA
Copy II ST v2.5 (.Txx or .DAT)
E-Copy - *.DIM
Fastcopy - *.DIM
ST-Scrunch v1.02 - *.SCR
ST-Cruncher v2.0 - *.LBR
Chaos Disk Compactor v2.2 - *.CDC
Disk Packer v1.1 - *.PAK
Jampacker v3.0 - *.DPK
Jampacker v4.0 - *.JPK
Speedpacker - *.SP*
Stew - *.STW
Pasti - *.STX
ST2Disk - *.ST (very common on internet.. never understood why. Personally I hate it. )



Missing tools for:
.FIL (Protest)
.SEQ ( donnu)
.COM (donnu)

you may ask why i request these.. Old ELITE BBSes traded those old disk images. and im tryin to depack these into - today usefule formats.
I have found quite some few softwares missing in my collection!!
rare games, cracks, utils etc.. (not shown on Internet atleast).

Are those Protest .fil disk image files compressed or encrypted? If they aren't and one must merely figure out the meaning of some headers or so, it would likely be possible to reverse engineer the file format. Particularly, if you happen to have at least one disk image both in .fil format and in a known format.
