Nothing without a special hardware such as Kryoflux i think.

I have never tested this myself as I don't use Windows, but this should work if the PC has a real floppy controller. USB floppydrives won't work.

Re: Floppy image
The problem is no so much the software or the operating system but the hardware. You need an old school floppy controller that most newer PCs don't have. Most USB drives won't work except for 80 tracks and 9 sectors per track. Or otherwise as already noted, you can use special hardware such as Kryoflux or SCP. In either case you need a standard floppy drive mechanism.rockyone wrote:under Windows XP or Windows 7

I tested with several diskettes: 2 faces, 83 sectors and 10 tracks.
The files are readable with STEEM, although there are read errors when copying on sectors 80 to 83 ,. Fortunately, there was no data on these areas.
I will test next week with another older floppy drive.
Re: Floppy image
Floppy transfer works well with STT mode regardless of the format of the floppy disk.
Important, click on the icon of reader A before each transfer !

Re: Floppy image
Many disk drives, especially "new" ones will have problems past track 79. It's a quite common problem on ST's too.rockyone wrote:The files are readable with STEEM, although there are read errors when copying on sectors 80 to 83 ,..

Re: Floppy image
With the readers of the years 2002 and 2005, the "Floppy to image" mode does not read all the sectors.
"Floppy to STT" mode works well with both floppy disk drives.
- The floppies had no protection. -
