Yeah, I downloaded them all to my phone last night as I was laying in bed reading this post! Very excellent. I should probably link this post to my post of the 'still being developed' post.

Actually we really should put these things in a wiki. I've actually bought Atari software recently to show my support for those which still will develop for our beloved platform. Though not so much that I can afford the full Calamus package, which is like 999...
Atari 8Bits: 800xl, 600xl, XEGS, 800, 130xe, 130xe (VBXE, U1MB, Stereo POKEY)
Atari STs: 1040STf (broken shifter), 1040STe, Mega STe, TT030, Falcon (CT60e, SuperVidel)

I talked to Derryck Croker of CCC/DDP and he confirmed there was a Texel 2.30 beta which was translated by Peter West. I'm trying to contact Peter to see if it still exists. This would be a major find!

Wow, fast as lightning ;-)

Is there a reason why the english version is about 12 megs and the german only 4 megs?

Do you have german versions of the other apps too?

Thanks.

If you look at the files on the first page, several are already German (and have separate English patches):

Cab
Jinnee
MagiC (German manual in Documentation archive)
Texel

I do have other German apps/manuals from ASH, etc. If you want any, just post your preference here.

German versions:
ASH Emailer 2.3h
ASH Utilities
E-Copy 1.72
Scripter 1.1
Kobold 3.5

Germans manuals:
Ash Emailer 2.3h
ASH Utilities
Cab 2.8
Jinnee 2.5
Kobold 3.5
NVDI 5
Texel 2.20

Sure, thanks.

I was debating whether to add other language versions after the English one for International users. Since this is an English forum I wasn't sure. What do you guys think?

I think it makes sense to add other languages, where available, now that your list growing.... I think many German and French and Spanish speaking Atarians are here.

I know, it would be exciting. Maybe Thomas Much would even release the source now since ASH stopped selling it, but I have no contact information for him. If anyone knows how to reach him, please PM me.

These things go in cycles. Sometimes authors drop out for a long time then come back to their roots.

For instance, Sven Kopacz released his source for Emailer/IConnect a year or so ago. It can be found at http://monokrom.orion.uberspace.de/sven.kopacz/.

Also, I talked to Manfred Lippert and he was happy to give the source to Manitor/Trapper. I put it up here: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=32337. If he wouldn't have lost the source to Jinnee I believe he would have released it also.

Still trying to get the source to MagicNet. I have a friend in Greece and we have found Vassilis Papathanassiou, but sadly at this point it doesn't seem like he is interested in Atari anymore. Pity really, but I'll keep trying.

I'm agree with @dbsys

I've spent months & months & months to have a Magic6.20 in French ! Never found !

So I make it by own... Based on the Fatrakoon version, upgraded in 6.20 with à MAGIC.RAM French, and modify all the apps & files into the installer...

Here my files : (MAGIC6.20 French Complete)

https://mega.nz/#!cQwgnbYI!2E2E3mG-EmHV ... FuSExgchv0

P.S : Sorry for my poor english, hope you understand me...

P.S2 : I have made THING 1.9 RSC in French too, but not finished yet, only 80-85%... But all primary functions are translated...

It has the Update folder with FRESHUP.TOS included in the zip. That should bring it up to 5.03 as far as I know.

I got the German 5.03 update directly from Ash.

*Edit* I looked at the Fatrakoon Update RSC with a hex editor and it is ~98-99% English (just a few error messages in German) so I think it is ok to use as a 5.03 update. :D

But yes, like you I have never seen an English 5.03 update by itself in the wild though.
