Well, it looks cute. I plan to start first with a goboard first to do the nandland tutorials, and the form factor of this ZynqBerryZero makes it a candidate for when the time to upgrade will come for me.

Maybe useful for a portable system, the FPGA seems close to a MiST in terms of specs and capabilities.

Looks like no dedicated RAM module for the FPGA, it might limit the possibilities. But at least 3 times more BRAM than on MiST.

I once contacted the makers of this to discuss the idea of a next gen MIST. The major problem was the tool chain which isn't free. Or at least has major limits in the free version, Then we'd need an SD sdram if we don't want to do major changes in all cores. There were other issues and they actually suggested to use a separate arm controller and regular fpga. In the end this would have been too similar to the current MIST to be a step forward.
