Re: Local Sellers for MiSTer Expansion Boards
Just got an SDRAM board from @sawf01 - extremely fast response and shipping, even though it was Christmas!
Still waiting for my FPGA board to arrive (from elsewhere) to actually put it to use, but he's been a genuine pleasure to deal with.
Many thanks!

Re: Local Sellers for MiSTer Expansion Boards
Hi there,
I still have an I/O board (v5.2) to sell (just the board without VGA Out, TOSLink analogue sound out and LEDs). In case you just need HDMI (for sound and video), the switches and the card reader it's exactly what you are looking for. Fan is attached and there is of course an appropriate CPU cooler added to the board by me. You only would need to buy the SDRAM-Module seperately from one of the sellers here on the board.
I bought it in the U.S. and payed 14$ for shipping and 28$ for the board with a heatsink but without fan. So I think 30€ with the fan (plus shipping) should be alright?
I'm living in Berlin, Germany
Best wishes, retox

Re: Local Sellers for MiSTer Expansion Boards
Any recommendation for someone in Australia? I'm looking to get into this but definitely need someone to build/supply the addon board(s) for me. I'm thinking I only really need an SDRAM board at this point but might look at an IO board too.
thanks
thanks

I'm now selling 3D printed cases for the MiSTer. NegSol came up with the design, I'm just printing them out. Colors include white, gray, and black for now- looking into glow in the dark in the future. Buyers can mix and match colors when ordering. https://misteraddons.com/product/mister ... nted-case/
Re: Local Sellers for MiSTer Expansion Boards
My IO board, SDRAM board and heatsink from kinox51 turned up today. Lovely guy to do business with, very friendly and helpful. The boards seem to be working a treat. Very nicely put together by kinox51 and I have to say what a lovely design by sorgelig.
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you didn't know already glow in the dark will wear out a nozzle fast so many use hardened ones or just get a lot of brass ones.JackBurton wrote:looking into glow in the dark in the future.
Chinese sources have all styles dirt cheap if you are patient.

That's what I've heard. I'm mostly trying to dial in my filament first before I get too carried away. Thanks!djmartins wrote:If you didn't know already glow in the dark will wear out a nozzle fast so many use hardened ones or just get a lot of brass ones.JackBurton wrote:looking into glow in the dark in the future.

That's what it takes, just wanted to make sure you knew that before doing a lot of glow filament printing.JackBurton wrote:That's what I've heard. I'm mostly trying to dial in my filament first before I get too carried away. Thanks!

Re: Local Sellers for MiSTer Expansion Boards
I'm stuck waiting for standoffs, which should be here tomorrow. Normally I have a faster turnaround time but the USB Hub standoffs are hard to find in short order. I have a surpluss of SDRAM, USB Hubs, and IO boards. It's the little things that get you, sometimes.djmartins wrote:That's what it takes, just wanted to make sure you knew that before doing a lot of glow filament printing.JackBurton wrote:That's what I've heard.
