Yes,nathanhardie wrote: Can you set just one core to run at 720?
I see the same thing on Black Widow.NML32 wrote:I noticed the text was a bit off
I have speech working but have been trying to implement a Low Pass filter to get rid of the hiss - work in progress.BlockABoots wrote:Is there any plans to add the speech to Sinistar?
As I worked on speech for Sinistar I found that the sound board was running too quick (about 11%). I slowed both board clocks to make the speech sound correct. This adjustment should be correct for the other Williams boards. I will get around to updating Robotron and Joust first for testing for those with younger ears than mine.dazzer69 wrote:That’s good to hear. Any chance of sound fix for Robotron?
did you fix the graphical glitches?oldgit wrote:As I worked on speech for Sinistar

I have had a look but not found the cause as yet - Its probably something really simple that just evades me at the moment.Sorgelig wrote: did you fix the graphical glitches?
I am not getting that on my machine using HDMI and external speaker.PsyFX wrote:Is anyone getting audio pops or clicks with the Williams (defender, robotron, joust, etc) cores or with the new Berzerk core?
Though I find the Berzerk core sounds much better then emulation, the pops/ clicks are the most noticeable with this core as I hear them after every voice effect or shot it seems. In the Williams cores I hear the pop/click at the title screen or game over.

I only tested Berzerk with the 3.5” audio jack on the I/o board.PsyFX wrote:Upon further testing...djmartins wrote:I am not getting that on my machine using HDMI and external speaker.PsyFX wrote:Is anyone getting audio pops or clicks with the Williams (defender, robotron, joust, etc) cores or with the new Berzerk core?

Digital Audio: Either HDMI or Toslink though 3.5 audio jack (w adapter), Popping / clicking in Berzerk & Williams cores.
Analog Audio: No popping / clicks, etc. sounds perfect!
So can anyone else confirm popping / clicks with either toslink or hdmi audio. with Berzerk, various williams games (not mayday) I can hear it in Mr Do's Nightmare as well. as there is a soundtrack with this game I only hear it on bootup, if you die or a stage change. Since I am on the only having issues? and I don't hear this in other cores, could it be some setting I got wrong?alanswx wrote:I only tested Berzerk with the 3.5” audio jack on the I/o board.PsyFX wrote:Upon further testing...djmartins wrote:

Thanks for the Frenzy core, it is appreciated.alanswx wrote:I only tested Berzerk with the 3.5” audio jack on the I/o board.
