Re: (Poll) Most wanted new MIST cores: FINAL ROUND
And a 'new MIST' compatible Acorn Archimedes core would also be nice! (This is the only one which does not start at all on my device. I think a buggy core is still better than a non-working one).
Re: (Poll) Most wanted new MIST cores: FINAL ROUND
That means u will never see a new Core.Higgy wrote:My vote is ensuring all cores work on all MiST versions before new ones are created !!
Will u pay for my Test Hardware need the newest Mist-Revison, a RGB Cable, a YPbPr/RGsB Cable and all the Time. My Paypal is .......

Who decides when a core is ready?
an example:Have a new Arcade Core. I need no OSD, Keyboard, USB, 15khz......, for me is the Core ready. All this extra work is only for(i think) max 50 People.
Take the Source Code and make your Wishes True
No one forces you to use all these "unfinished" Cores.

Re: (Poll) Most wanted new MIST cores: FINAL ROUND
Unfortunately this does not work either on my HW. Black screen only, no F12-menu. Tried as first core, and reset with leftmost button after the first unsuccesful attempt.Gehstock wrote: ...try this OneDrOG wrote:And a 'new MIST' compatible Acorn Archimedes core would also be nice! Some other forum members reported the same earlier in the Archie's own topic, don't know if they have bigger luck than me?

According to the docs (which I'm sure you've read, right?), the MiST firmware must be upgraded before using the Acorn core:vebxenon wrote:No luck. I have to agree with you guys. We need to improve the implementation side (timing constraints, component placement, etc.) of current cores.DanyPPC wrote:I wish Amstrad CPC Plus feature series implemented in the CPC Core and an OCM (MSX) core that works without disk errors on new Mist hardware.
Re: (Poll) Most wanted new MIST cores: FINAL ROUND
My topic on the subject did not get much coverage: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=31249
But Newsdee's has got more momentum: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=31359
Can we move the this talk sort of talk to Newsdee's Topic to try and get a single discussion area. We need to get organised
I will post over on Newsdee's Topic regarding Archie Core.

The snes core for MiSTer isn't "public" yet and I doubt it would be soon.
