My vote is ensuring all cores work on all MiST versions before new ones are created !!

That means u will never see a new Core.
Will u pay for my Test Hardware need the newest Mist-Revison, a RGB Cable, a YPbPr/RGsB Cable and all the Time. My Paypal is .......


Who decides when a core is ready?

an example:Have a new Arcade Core. I need no OSD, Keyboard, USB, 15khz......, for me is the Core ready. All this extra work is only for(i think) max 50 People.

Unfortunately this does not work either on my HW. Black screen only, no F12-menu. Tried as first core, and reset with leftmost button after the first unsuccesful attempt.

Some other forum members reported the same earlier in the Archie's own topic, don't know if they have bigger luck than me?

According to the docs (which I'm sure you've read, right?), the MiST firmware must be upgraded before using the Acorn core:

I wish Amstrad CPC Plus feature series implemented in the CPC Core and an OCM (MSX) core that works without disk errors on new Mist hardware.

I have to agree with you guys. We need to improve the implementation side (timing constraints, component placement, etc.) of current cores.
