Steinberg Pro-16 Emulation

Post by SAMW »

Hi everybody,
I'm trying to emulate or try to emulate Steinberg Pro-16 on Windows 10. Now I'm finding an endless flood of emulation software, but I can't get anything to work. Do any of you know where I can find a Steinberg Pro-16 emulation that works or runs on a virtual machine? If yes, which virtual machine is more appropriate for running older Steinberg software? I want to try to do a bit of order to understand what to use and what not, but I'm not an Atari emulation expert ... that's why I'm asking you here, you're definitely more experienced ... My idea is to start with the first software ( 80s) and then go on for years ... So theoretically from 1984 with S. Pro-16 which was the first software. I think an emulazine doesn't create anything bad ... (it doesn't work as the original on a real or real Atari machine ...). Then I want to say, stuff from thirty years ago ... Now nobody uses a technology more than thirty years ago, if not for nostalgic collection ... Thanks.

I apologize but a doubt has arisen ... I believe that the first versions of S. Pro-16 run on Commodore and not on Atari ...

In Atari we also have Pro-24 in versions I, II and III; but all are predecessors of what would be the best sequencer of all time: Cubase.
I recommend you Cubase version 2.01 MCA cracked, it is the only one that works perfectly without a dongle and you could try it on your Atari emulator.
