In light of how many Magazine coverdisks I've added, do you maybe want to split those out into their own folder?
Magazine cover disks are now in their respective folders to tidy up.

Thanks to Mikerochip, Lethal Weapon and Addams Family dumps now added as well. Are these cleaned versions of the previous BAD ones or alternate disks?

Sorry, I meant to submit a note before I uploaded. Those are cleaned disks, the same ones I submitted earlier, and the 7z includes the earlier images. So, yes, please, delete the ones marked bad.

I cleaned and redumped the Big Box 2 Beau Jolly Disk 4. Seems fine. Uploading now. (So, we can delete the old dump!)

I also switched out the Epson drive for a newer Alps one that I have, and it's reading disks much easier, with less jitter.
(Because it's newer, or has had less use, or is a better drive is unknown)

I cleaned, redumped and uploaded Back to the future 2 - Image Works.

And:
Double Dragon - 16 Blitz. (Both disks: but only Disk 2 was faulty previously)
Cabal - The Hit Squad.
First Division Manager - CodeMasters
Fantasy World Dizzy - CodeMasters
Frost Byte - 16Bit Pocket Power

All were dumped @ 5 revolutions, rather than the 3 before.

And the first Set of Forgotten Worlds - Kixx that I uploaded.

some more: (previously bad dumps, redumped at 5 revolutions and cleaned etc)

Midnight Resistance - Ocean (Previously disk 1 bad)

RoboCop 3 - Ocean (Previously disk 3 bad) (previous bad dump is in the main Mega folder, not the bad folder btw)

WWF Wrestlemania - Ocean (Previously disk 2 was bad, I think. Not sure if I uploaded this before)

Jimmy whites whirlwind snooker - Virgin (I don't think the previous dump of this was bad, btw. It worked fine, and other dumps I've seen have the same 3 sectors at the end that have CRC/fuzzy/shortrack)

Fun School 2 for the over 8's - The Hit Squad. Disk looks like it's got some water damage, but, won't really clean off. It dumped successfully, but looks very jittery, and neither Aufit nor HxC show it as having any errors, but neither hAtari or SteemSSE will load this.
Can someone check if it runs on a real atari? (I'm guessing not...)

Hudson Hawk - The Hit Squad. Unfortunately, this disk is physically damaged, like the surface was left on something sharp, and the mylar has some small bumps in it.

The Simpsons: Bart Vs The Space Mutants - Akklaim. This is similar to above, it looks like the disk is physically damaged.

I'm never going to be able to get a good dump from these I presume.

Hudson Hawk - The Hit Squad.
The Simpsons: Bart Vs The Space Mutants - Akklaim.
These are uploaded in the bad folder in case anyone wants to test these further but they look bad to me.

The dump is ok, no errors indeed, but the data on the disk is corrupt.

Boo. OK, thanks for checking.

redumped:

Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles - Image Works
Flight of the Intruder (Disk 1) Spectrum Holobyte
Quattro Fighters: Disk 1 - CodeMasters

And the following still have errors after redumping:
Quattro Fighter Disk 2 (Looks like physical damage)
Switchblade - kixx. (This looks like the worst dump I've even seen in Aufit!)

These are in the bad folder for now but probably should be removed at some point.

I'm happy for you to remove them. I thought they might be useful somehow, but, really, ... how?
Unless you're going to splice disks together, and if people prefer we not do that, then, really, they're not much use.

The vast majority of them are coverdisks, and, the contents of most (apart from ST Actions) are all known I think.

I also randomly checked one of the other (not mine) dumps, and the Captain Dynamo(5r).zip has a heap of bad (well, they're all in black! and dark red in HxC) sectors on it.

I checked it because neither Aufit nor HxC will make a working .stx file from the .SCP. Though, the .scp I dumped works perfectly.
I don't know if you want to move that to the bad folder too?
Has anyone vetted any/all of the other dumps?

That's the batch file I made to make the .stx and make the HxC images.

https://github.com/M1kerochip/LaunchGre ... _Atari.cmd

With Captain Dynamo, I included an .st file also, and because the copy protection isn't present on this disk format, and it triggers an interesting copy protection mechanism.
You are presented with a phone number, and code, and to play you call the number, input the code, and it gives you a response that you type into the game.
You are charged an extra fee for using this phone number, so Code Masters recoup their costs from pirate disks that way.
Quite clever, I don't think I've seen copy protection used like that before.
(I have seen Code Masters use that before though, on an Amiga coverdisk where they gave away a full game but you had to call the number to get the code to play it)

The STX image produced by Aufit is working. You just have to turn off drive B.

The previous dump, "Captain Dynamo(5r).zip", seems to be slightly damaged.

But your copy seems to have a virus. Yeah, it is not a joke considering the current situation. I hope you are write protecting all your original disks!

Strange that you don't have to disable drive B when the .scp is used though.

It's a disk I bought, and the write protect tab was already open. So, I guess it's had a virus for a while!!
(My own ST's haven't worked properly in a good long while too)

The environment is different. Steem using its own FDC emulation for SCP files, but it uses Pasti for STX images. It's a buglet in Steem's FDC emulation that doesn't behave exactly like real hardware. Which Steem version are you using? I think this was corrected at some point, but I'm not sure.

4.0.1. The .stx still didn't work for me though with drive B disabled.

I tried disinfecting a copy of the scp with UVK 2000 v9.0GB, and it seems to be ok still.

Edit: Ah, it does if I tell Steem to "Use Pasti for all disk images and ASCI"

OK some more:

Discovery Xtra: Disks 1,2,3 and 5. Disk 4 doesn't seem to be viable. This is the first box variant, the one with the disks marked DE1, DE2 etc.

Super Off Road - 16 Blitz (Previous dump was fine, but only 3x revolutions. this one is 5x)

Turbo pack creativity disk 2 (I'd uploaded disks 1, 3, 4 previously)

All have been added, with Super Off Road replaced. I cannot locate the other Turbo pack disks that you mention?

Hmm, I guess I didn't upload them!
added:
Turbo Pack: Creativity Disk 1,3,4. (So that's all 4)
And Turbo Pack: Games disk 5 (Outrun & Super Cycle)

The second Turbo Pack variant has the same 4 disks, then a fifth AniST disk, and a different outer sleeve. I'll get to that eventually!
The third variant I don't own, that's where the disks are marked DXA, DXB, etc. rather than DE1, DE2 etc.

More:
Disks 2,3,4 of Heroes: Domark.
Disk 3 and 4 seem to be fine (Running Man disk 1 and 2) but disk 2 (Barbarian 2 : Palace) required a lot of cleaning. I think it's about as good as it's going to get.
Running man seems to have data on tracks 81 and 82, which is rare. I've no idea if there's anything on tracks 83 and 84, but my drive said it's only an 82 track drive, so I didn't try them.

Then, disk 5 (Italy 1990: USGold) of Action Max from Infograms. (That's the only disk I have from that compilation)

These dumps have now been added. Running Man disks look fine. I don't believe any disk normally has data beyond track 81.

There are a couple of original disks with 83 tracks (up to track 82). I would try to include one more track just in case.

What you mean it "said it's only 82 track drive"? Anyway, you won't harm the drive trying. In the worst case the image won't be correct.
