Floppyshop CDs 2, 3 & 5
Right .. here's some stuff for you Bit Torrent fans!
A few years ago I used to supply (and at one point work for) Floppyshop.
Recent queries by MoA on STOS demos made me realise that somewhere in parents house, was the complete set of all Floppyshop and ST Club CDs that I bought back in '99. Couldn't find them anywhere.
Luckily someone else did have and has copied them for me. And I hereby hand them over to you.
You'll need a torrent client to leech the CDs.
CD #2 - Mostly Magazine disks
http://www.atarilegend.com/torrents/Flo ... ar.torrent
CD #3 - Mostly PD games
http://www.atarilegend.com/torrents/Flo ... ar.torrent
CD #5 - Mostly Demos
http://www.atarilegend.com/torrents/Flo ... ar.torrent
If you want the whole Floppyshop catalogue then it's here: http://www.mikemee.plus.com/Floppyshop.zip
Although there is a individual catalogue on each CD.
Have fun and don't leech, but share for a week if you can.
Many thanks for Silver Surfer for his help.

My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).
I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Yep .. you should have seen how slow it was on eMule
All dues to SilverSurfer for lending a hand or else you'd all be leeching off my extra slow 512K ADSL connection!
I've got all the other Floppyshop CDs and they will also be let loose next week once everyone has got their full of these 3.

Will leave them running over the weekend as I'm out Friday and back Saturday. If no-one else posts a "please keep them running" before Monday morning, then with Silver Surfers help, will get the FaST Club disks up and running.

Sad to report that due to many h/drive problems with system at the moment, that the files located on my machine will not be available until I can track down what's going wrong with my machine.
Not sure if it's the RAID controller playing up or one or two (!!) drives out of the 4 in total are sulking for some other reason but I keep getting error messages about program crashes all the time. Was working fine up until yesterday morning ... and most of the evening until I can to burn something off.

If my mate can fix the PC tomorrow then I'll be back and will start hosting the FaST Club CDs .. they're packed and ready but they were on the drive that started playing up.
Now the whole PC went belly-up yesterday and a burning smell wafted from the innards.
Fingers crossed it will be a cheap fix like memory or processor and not expensive like a motherboard replacement as no cheap boards come with a RAID option

Tale of woe gets much worse:
A mate picked me up on the Friday and took one look at the old PSU and pronounced it D.O.A. - proved rest of PC was OK by plugging in a spare 400W he had ... Yeah.. PC still works.
Went to computer show on the Saturday in Manchester .. bought a brand spankingly new 550W power supply - should be enough for everything I run off the PC (1 x DVD reader, 2 x DVD writers and 4 hard-drives!) .. mate goes to install it and a cable needed by the PSU doesn't have a connector on the board! THis was after him spending an hour wondering what he was doing wrong .. the 400W one worked so why didn't this one etc. etc. In end I left with the 400W and a problem whereby there wasn't enough cables for the case fan (it's a tower case by the way) ..
So I get home last night .. and find that my 120Gig has gone for a burton, so all the downloads over the last 4-months .. a complete TOSEC of Atari and Amiga stuff .. 50Gigs worth of MP3s and a few other odds and sods .. all un-reachable.
Also my damn PC keeps freezing after 30 minutes usage .. probably because there's no case fan.
Luckily I found an exhaust fan inside my old motherboard case, so using the power supply that was for the now dead 120Gig, I'm creating tons of noise and hopefully enough cool air.
Really am not having much fun .. and don't want to cause another lock-up by trying to burn a CD/DVD again.
Grrrrrrr .. damn PCs. Love 'em and hate 'em
