Leicester - uninteresting! Spot on! :D I live the...

Might be better to use a meter to check for "open connections",
rather that a visual check! :)

I've had this for ages and I'm sure I sent a image of it to Brume.

However, I also remember it having quite a few track errors too...
so hopefully Rich's version is better!

Ok I have uploaded another bunch of disks (to the floimg folder on megafile) which brings the total there up to 38, plus the 50 I uploaded earlier - not bad for one day :) While reading some intros I found out that most of these groups all belonged to one 'large group' (ala union / corporation / et...

There are two games called Elf? One by Tynesoft (I think) and the other was a much more polished affair from Ocean. Not got the Atari Legend links to hand as in work and everything is watched :( On your behalf: http://www.atarilegend.com/games/games_detail.php?game_id=251 http://www.atarilegend.com...

Most likely it is the solderjoints on the keyboard's mouse/joystick connector that is starting to give in. I think there is a post here somewhere, that describes how to fix it, with pictures. It's here: http://www.atari-forum.com/wiki/index.php/Atari_STFM/STE_Mouse/Joystick_Ports_Problem (claim to ...

It's this type of juicy material that'd look the dogs doodahs in the Wiki - look at the one recently imported on fixing the joystick ports on old ST/STE's for an example of what a few pics does to help out a hardware fix. That looks cool!! I'd forgotten about this, but you're right... this is the p...

Re: More from Marl's Box'o'Tat

So that's what we did, we made up an uber disk, really went to town on it, crammed loads onto it and made it a bit special (Now that would be a collectors item). That would be a nice disk, we have found some of your older disks here: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=28756&highlight=#28756...

Re: DISK2FDI Images on Steem

Has anyone used Disk2FDI images of Atari ST disks with steem? As I've found a couple that Pasti couldn't copy. Disk2FDI copied them ok, they are about 10meg each. Just wondering how i can get them to work on steem or another emulator? any ideas? I believe you have to do a sector copy to be compatib...

Mucho grats to you Mug for your recent efforts. I have come across some files with the ".7z" suffix whilst browsing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of the later Pompey stuff was runnable from hard disk? How does ULS differ from this, if it does? I'm actually very interested in what ULS is doing and how from a techy point of view. I assume the docs of the disk will explain all... :D Keep up the good work guys.....
