the clockpatch is to fix a nasty problem with all falcons. it is a bug in the workings of the dma, meaning the scsi and sound replay may be faulty. the sound crackles and sometimes data transferred from your harddisk is corrupt. this clockpatch (74F0x if i'm not mistaking), fixes those problems. i d...

Hi Marten, Yeah, saw your page, that looked great. =) Although I couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm stuck still in the polar region... Yeah, I used a cheat ;) But I don't reckon I'm supposed to lose a life in that level just to get a part of the key? ;) Anyway, what crack did you play? Or did...

Something a bit different. I wondered about Eggstacy (nice demo escpecially cos of the psuedo-3d sprites :)) Is it supposed to hang at the end? There is some rain and some g-shaded letters and then it just stops.

Ralf: hope you get that DVD toghether! Good luck.

hi ralf, i always use apex for it. load in gif/tga/etc with it grab a block, and save apx. it can save in bitplane/bpp formats, both 8bit as well as 16bit. the apx format is really simple and ideal for inclusion. but who knows, you're program might be better? :) Can you send it to me or upload it so...

hi!

i made a little 3d2 -> .s format converter in C. It calculates vertex normals as well. The .s format is a little silly, but the C code is easy to modify. I'll grab it from my harddisk and mail you.

Rodolphe is willing to run another batch, but ofcourse there needs to be enough interest. I think he talked about something like at least 50 buyers to run the next batch, which imho is not much, start mailing him! :)

yep, an optimised version (and one that works fine on accelerators too) would be nice. the st version could do with a chiptrack, altho an amiga mod would also be possible, since there's not much going on on screen. However, the 32 colors is damn hard to realise on ST. Splitting the palette along the...

i tried scummvm last night (on ct2), but couldn't get it to load the game.. it complains about atlantis.000 missing. but scummvm.ttp and atlantis.000 are in the same folder. under mint it just crashes. i also tried turning ttram off, but also no luck. my standard falcon is a bit weird and seems to c...

I now tried it on my ct2. Dear lord, the menu speed was awful, it was slower than the original ST lucasfilm games. I tried it with atlantis (i got some pc version from somewhere on the net) and it hanged, both under mint and singletos. I tried "scummvm -enull" maybe I should have tried "scummvm -e n...

gryzor: nope, you got me wrong. i think there should be an emulator, because in the future the is no real falcon left. i don't believe a system exists in it's physical form completely, but prefer the real thing. rb: best of luck with the emulator. i know a bit about the falcon, so feel free to ask s...

rb: it's nice you want to make an emulator for the whole series of st->falcon. but.. as somebody allready pointed out, there is already such a thing. it runs on basicly any modern system (linux and mac too, yes). it also has dsp/videl emulation and such. it's called aranym and i think you've heard o...

first i thought a falcemu would destroy the last remnants of the falcon scene. with the st emus it was a bit like that: throw away your real st, play games in steem all day and do nothing productive. there are exceptions, but they are not so frequent. i do admit steem is a good preview tool and over...
