Re: Gallery for Atari Forum?

No no, thats not what I meant. This is just another Thread-style. I mean a real Gallery Mod like that http://www.flying-bits.org/gallery/

Gallery for Atari Forum?

What about adding a Gallery to the Atari Forum? Might be better/easier instead of having lots of threads used for wallpapers, screenshots or pictures? They would be easier to find and won't get lost for some time. I just got the idea as I saw many dead links in some threads.

Re: What kind of MINT should I install?

You can use CrippleMint which works also with 4 MB Ram.

If you want a Ram Expansion for your Falcon, I can help. Just drop me a PM.

Falcon select signals

I need some little help with address decoding to get 2 select signals on the expansion bus of the Falcon with different addresses. Currently I used D0-15 and A1-15 for the device, everything else is unused. The idea is now to use 2 x 74xx138 to get 2 select signals but I just don't understand how th...

Re: GAL20v8 availability

I can get new GAL20V8 (-15LP, -15QP, -25LP, -25QP) for 1,35 Euro to 1,85 Euro each (depending on which version). Not sure if this is cheap for you.

Re: Schematic cattamaran

Max. operating temp is 70°C (40MHZ) to 80°C (50MHZ). I think its save to leave the cpu without extra cooling but I would suggest to use at least a heatsink if theres enough space left.

Re: Schematic cattamaran

What about using the Cypress CY22801? Seems to be a small and nice device. Has 1 Input (like 16 MHz) and can give us the needed Outputs (like 40/48 MHz). So all we need is to switch between these Outputs via the GAL.

Re: Schematic cattamaran

fantastic work there djbase, any chance it can be modded to allow different overclock speeds? like maybe 40/48mhz? can imagine 48mhz would get the 030 cooking, maybe needing a heatsink? The 48 MHz clock is generated by the ICS device. We would have to change the hole thing for another speed. Also n...
