Re: New Falcon Game release - DOWNFALL!

Driving controllers can be converted, but they're not that great apparently. Paddles only go so far then stop so they're not suitable for conversion afaik. Doesn't mean someone else might not be able to hack them for st/falcon or support them, but the things I was talking about are the same kind you...

Re: New Falcon Game release - DOWNFALL!

If anyone is feeling brave enough to convert a power pad/jaguar pad into a dual-use spinner & regular pad, take a look at ZeroSquare's post over on AtariAge : http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/191571-building-a-cheap-rotary-controller/ . Very simple to do and the parts cost pennies, much better v...

Re: Retro Gamer Mag: Need Some Help On ST Exclusives!

Shame LGD is offline, you could take a look at all the ST games he's claimed to have written that were actually written by other people. You could take a look at Atari Age as see all the Spectrum games he claimed to have written, that were written by other people or did not even exist. Or the later ...

Re: Retro Gamer Mag: Need Some Help On ST Exclusives!

"I have been asked to do an article for Retro Gamer magazine on Atari ST exclusives"... " I have been pushing for this article for a while now"... which is it? Most journalists do their own research. If you need some jourlanism tips, there's some inspired tricks and tips linked below: http://reboot....

Yes, but this is super burnout, by far one of the jag's brightest moments, not a jerkfest 3fps pos like supercross ;-)

Re: FS: Atari Jaguar games

Still 3 games available! Make me an offer! Super burnout is a great game - I definitely played it the most out of all the games I had. I agree, if I didn't already have it that would have been first on my list. Iron Soldier for a fiver is a steal and Dino Dudes not bad at all, hours of game there. ...

Re: New Falcon Game release - DOWNFALL!

A question : many fruits appear under a plateform and I don't know how to catch them. Is there a way to eat them, or are they just here to make me loose the game :D ? Yes, that's normal - it's the same in the Jaguar game. Some fruits can only be grabbed by taking a risky running jump (maybe even us...

New Falcon Game release - DOWNFALL!

RGC saw the release of our first game for the Atari Falcon! It's taken a little time to finalise the release for the site, but we're now proud to present Downfall for Falcon! It comes in two flavours - one for 4Mb Falcons and one for 14Mb machines, so visit the Downfall Falcon page ( http://reboot.a...

Re: About certain HD adaptions...

Oh I admire the logic - it's OK to run potentially harmful software from a SD as it's easy to restore or 'buy some new hardware to limit risks'... throw in 'solder a few wires' and you have the golden triforce! :D Well, furry muff if they were called sd-patched-games-with-the-potential-to-bork-the-w...

Re: About certain HD adaptions...

There's two ways to look at it... You can go by the word of all the many people who have suffered at the hands of his 'adaptations', those who have disassembled his code & seen what batshit crazy stuff he does in there (& have seen their stuff butchered and incorporated into his 'own' stuff as well,...

I downloaded the patched version of Dark Side of the Spoon to run on my Falcon from the dbug website. Re: Hard disk adapted games

Complaning that some SW almost screwed your valuable datas just shows how wrong you do things. Ignoring polite reports from people who's data you have destroyed & telling them 'you're doing it wrong' is a bit arse. As is ripping off other people's work & passing it off as your own. As is misquoting...

The coder is a friendly chap & is open to suggestions on where to go from here, so anyone who has a need for some degas action on their PC should give it a look & let him know their thoughts. I've not had enough time with it yet but that will change s...
