not sure if your asking for wired support since you mention bt and wired but the revision of xbox one controller with bt will connect to an 8bitdo orange brick usb receiver.

Re: A larger enclosure?

I so half wish sometimes that somebody with the ability to do this stuff would design some sort of enclosure kit for an inexpensive commercially available pc case so you could almost consolise the DE10-Nano. I know that people have customissed their own but the thought of being able to buy a mother...

I never get any luck with hooking things up to CRT - jamma, pi, pc, nothing has ever worked. Oh well I'll wait to get an I/O board.
you can use the hdmi to vga adapter without running in direct video mode.

Re: I/O Board

For SNES you will need SNES gamepad, for NES you will need NES gamepad, then you will need Genesis gamepad to play in Genesis. I don't see how it can be convenient to use. And you can't use OSD. You are right & very practical person not like most people. That's why i spent money on the other board ...

Re: Joystick testing thread

I also updated the 8bitdo orange brick firmware almost the same day so maybe its that. Once i get them to connect they are fine but the initial connection is a mess. The controllers say they connect but i get no movement out of mister. Ill see if i can downgrade the firmware and see if that fixes it.

Re: Joystick testing thread

I dont know if its coincidence but since about the time the joystick auto mapping was installed the mister and 8bitdo receivers have a difficult time connecting and often have to be unplugged and replugged in or power cycle mister to get them to connect with the controller again.
