I've only just seen this thread.

Where are the images - I'd love to get my hands on this.

Thanks.

Phew. It's ok. Found that one of the legs snapped off. Re-soldered a new leg and we're good.

TOS 1.04 LO ROM - Gone bad... help..

Hi all,

Been fiddling tonight and my Mega ST 4 has gone poof. Found out that my LO-0 is bad. I've got a replacement 27C512 chip but just need the image of LO-0.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks.

Re: anyone want EtherNEC's ?

I don't think I can start shipping any EtherNEC's until later in the year. I'll report back when things are ready. Don't expect anything from me in the next few weeks though.

Re: eprom and programming service's + post's

Ooooh, now I might be tempted.

I have exactly this kind of STE.

So it's two new ROM's with a switch ? And I need to move the jumpers ?

Is there a picture, technical details on what to do once you've got the ROMs ?

Thanks,

For an EtherNEC, my current pricing thinking is around £20 +shipping.

Re: Eiffel3 - Ordering now open

Hi yeah, Great to see you have it. If you look on the board just above the actual PS2 connectors you'll see some writing which says "Keyboard" & "Mouse". But the Keyboard socket is on the left, and the Mouse is on the right. And as for NetUSBee, I know djbase is thinking about producing NetUSBee's w...

Any ideas when production would start ?

I think I could do normal EtherNEC's within a month.

anyone want EtherNEC's ?

Just gauging interest if I did some. I'm going to do the PCB anyway for me, so wondered if anyone else was interested. Yes, I know NetUSBee is out, but that involves more detailed work and the EtherNEC is a very simple device. And I'm only in need of ethernet support on the machines I'm going to be ...

Re: Eiffel3 - Ordering now open

This is a good question and one I can't stress enough. The Eiffel takes it's power from the keyboard port. So you need to be careful if you are powering 5V fans from it. I've tested a 200mA fan without problems. There is a two pin header on the Eiffel for this. I'm not sure how far it would go thoug...

Re: Eiffel3 - Ordering now open

O.k. When you open up your STe you'll see that the keyboard cable runs off to the mainboard. That connection to the mainboard is going to be removed. If you look at the ordering page and look for the internal cable you'll see one end of that cable has the same connector as your keyboard that is plug...
