Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

I'm using Lotharek's 1.3 with the MIDI addon. Well, I'll test version 3 more, maybe that's the most stable. V1 was pretty solid aside from the small issue with Pilotwings and some graphical issues. I've tried to compile core's before, but it never quite worked right for me on windows. Have to get an...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

This one and the test 2 release have huge weird OSD for some reason now, also Test 4b doesn't load Pilotwings at all, will play around with the save function more though to see how well that works. It's big, but size in the FPGA is the half. Pilotwings works for me (LoROM). Yea I was in lorom mode,...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Is SRAM backup saves going to be possible? The SNES uses them extensively in many games. https://github.com/gyurco/SNES_MiSTer/releases/test4b This one and the test 2 release have huge weird OSD for some reason now, also Test 4b doesn't load Pilotwings at all, will play around with the save functio...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

What custom chips support this port? DSP only? :) Yes. The FPGA is 100% full. Even the RGB->YPbPr module didn't fit :) But the DSPn chips are the most widely used ones after SA1. Ok :D . Well I've done a lot of tests... Pilotwings PAL doesn't work well, I don't know why  . About PAL and NTSC...

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Definitely getting graphical corruption the longer I run certain games like Tecmo Super Bowl. Weird since the NES core also seems to have that issue with Tecmo Super Bowl of graphics corruption slowly getting worse. Metal Marines is a mess right from launch. Lots of other stuff has no issues though....

Re: Mister SNES port to MIST possible?

Amazing. I never thought this would happen. NTSC had a blur running horizontally across the screen for some reason. Super Mario RPG wouldn't load in any rom setting. Super Metroid seems to have corrupted the rom image causing graphical blocks when saving the game which does not actually save through...

Re: Request Dragon 32 / Coco 2 ON Mist FPGA

It would be neat, but if you want one so bad why not get the DE1 and setup the Coco3fpga on there? Maybe figure out a way to port it even?

Re: MIST and DLINK Dub-e100

Ok, so Setup through windows 10. Windows can Ping the Atari, but the Atari cannot ping windows. That's when setting IP to 192.168.255.1 and .2 respectively. Also then the PC looses internet connection as well since the router IP range is 10.0.0.xxx I tried setting ST to be in that range matching and...

I think you're probably thinking of the MiSTer version. SNES is too big for us as of yet and GBC still has loads of bugs.

Default Velocity Cubase

Hey, does anyone know what setting changes the default velocity when drawing notes? Can't find anything in the manual and the default is super quiet. Also if anyone knows how to edit note length on entire note groups that would be helpful too. Thanks! Took me a while to figure out to hold Alt when e...

Re: MiST - new joystick/gamepad mapping

Tried the new CD32 controller version of minimig 1.2.3. Button mapping is way off. R button maps to nothing, L maps to pause/menu. I and II are switched. X and Y are rewind/FF. Start and Select are III and IV. Is this meant for DB9 only or does it need a firmware update? Is your mapping works with ...

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

I'd love to see black and white vector gaming and keep the audio. There is already a Vectrex core for MiST, that outputs to a regular raster display. http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=33150 However, this might be adapted to output Real Vector Graphics to a Vector Monitor. If connecti...

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

I'd love to see black and white vector gaming and keep the audio. Audio is just way too important to sacrifice for color. Maybe some super high quality DAC's from the H-sync/V-sync to the X/Y amplifier could do the trick though.

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

Well it looks like you should be able to output X/Y over the VGA.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... fBwz_SiK8s

Tempest uses a Wells-Gardner 6100. Not all vector game boards are designed for all vector monitors, but could probably be adapted. I've never seen it though.

Re: Amiga CD image

I figured it out. My CD0 got corrupted somehow, but also the file rename is to take an .iso and make it .iso.hdf for future reference to anyone wanting to use CD images. Still displays the filesystem may not be usable message in the OSD, but works like a charm.

Re: Amiga CD image

Yea, that's how I got it working that and the video for mister, but I had to do something different for MiST because the file extension .iso.img isn't recognized by MiST like it is on MiSTer. Maybe it's the new core? Never got the OSD message saying filesystem not recognized before.

Re: Using MiST to drive an Arcade Vector Monitor

You could probably implement a vector VGA scan converter in the FPGA, but you'd have to get a hold of one to map it out and they are expensive not to mention rarely available. They probably use some closed source FPGA actually. Contact them, may be open to assisting a project. https://vectorvga.com ...
