Re: Atari ST core

To rename a file you have to left click it and then choose "Show Info" from the edit menu. Here you can rename the file and click ok.

Re: Atari ST core

Is it possible to make changes to the vhd file?
When I rename a program on the MiST it is written to the harddisk file, on MiSTer the change is reverted on the next boot.

Re: It's no more a MiSTery

Congratulations Slingshot for getting the core ported to MiSTer by Sorgelig, it was time that the system got an official ST core and it only shows how great your core is. MiSTer users can have as much fun with this core now as MiST user already have for a while now. Great core, very mature and with ...

Inviso is a regular feature in Stargate, it makes your ship invisible and invincible as long as the button is pressed. The red bar above the score is the inviso energy bar, it fills slowly while your score increases. You can see the use of the inviso function in this video at 00:05: https://www.yout...

I have a Full HD TV that doesn't look good in 720p, but fine in 1366x768 (HD Ready), has anybody a config for 1366x768 50Hz, the presets in the ini only have a 60Hz profile.

No, but you can overwrite a config any time with a new one from the OSD.

Re: PC Engine core

It seems that they deliberately omitted turbo switches from the PC Engine mini original box out of an extreme sense of trying to recreate the appearance of original machine. I think explanation is more simple - can sell it second time and get more money. MiSTer has autofire feature which has more s...

Re: C64 Core

You say it works on rare occassions, have you tried other versions of the core to see if an older version works better? The SD card was the first thing that came to my mind, but as it works sometimes, I think it has nothing to do with the card. I don't have the RTC or an I/O board, but maybe you can...

My JiffyDos Kernal is working fine with the latest C64 core, when I start it with the core. When I start with the original kernal and try to change the kernal I get the black screen as well (the same vice versa).

Re: Arcade cores

Those speech ICs were used in all sorts of systems back then and some good FPGA versions would be great but I haven't seen any out there. They used the Texas Instruments LPC chips: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Instruments_LPC_Speech_Chips It seems to be a whole system that appears it would b...

Re: MIST C64 core

The latest version of the core shows some strange behaviour for me. When I put it on my card and rename it to core, the MiST boots to a black screen. I can access the menu by pressing F12 without problem and then, when I load the core.rbf again, it boots into the basic. It then even comes to the bas...

Re: It's no more a MiSTery

Oh that's a nice surprise the Atari Mouse didn't work with the previous ST core, at least not the last time I tried it. I will connect my Atari mouse to the MiST the moment I get home later today.
