Re: Atari STE to VGA via the GBS 8220 board

Hello, thanks for your responses. The board itself works very well. If I dont use the floppy drive and dont have the ultrasatan connected it gives a crispy clear display; if I run a demo (Blue Period of Paradox for example), and the disk is done loading, the display works like a charm. I will test t...

Re: Atari STE to VGA via the GBS 8220 board

Ive done some testing and notice the following: - When there is no disk-access, and no UltraSatan attached, while at desktop; the screen is steady - When there is diskaccess, the screen is wobbly on the v-offset when the diskdrive makes noise - When the ultrasatan is attached, the screen flickers co...

Atari STE to VGA via the GBS 8220 board

Hi there guys, after some looking around how to get the Atari STE connected to an LCD monitor, I found the GBS 8220 board via youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kjseux-qJeQ (I believe its a Dutch guy, judging the accent). I ordered the converter board, soldered the stuff together, such that HS ...

Re: Lotharek's NetUSBee is shipping...

I have received my NetUSBee last week, today I plugged it in. I downloaded the STING stack and the driver package. After following the installation guide at http://hardware.atari.org/manuals/netsting.htm I got to the point where the Atari could ping my LAN machines and vice versa. I am not yet able ...

In case this is not the appropriate thread for questions with regards to the SSE release, please forgive me and point me to the right direction. I am a big fan and heavy user of the STEem Debugger. However, currently this version is only built for Windows. The only way I am able to use the STEem deb...

WTB Netusbee

Im looking for a netusbee to put my Atari in my network.

I have looked around on the internet to no avail. I know that Lotharek is still polling for requests, but he is not at the point of making a batch as far as I know.

Perhaps any of you have one you wish to part with?

Re: Atari STe to LCD (via Scart) question

If I connect the Atari's through the SCART <> HDMI converter box to the LCD, I get the flickering. When I connect the scart immediately to the LCD, I get a steady screen, with some `shadowing' I believe its called; not all pixels are perfectly steady, and epecially small fonted text is hard to read....
