Re: Project ideas, video & sound

I got 2 of these (ordered a while ago to start working on a video card once the 68020 board is done. My plan is to plug it on the expansion port we have on the card (whole 68020 bus signals). The component can also probably work in a VME card as the VME buss protocol is mostly 68000. The external D...

30% of a CT60-100...I didn't know the 68060 was so powerful that the RPi3 only gets to the 30% of its CPU power.

TOS switcher question. Why keyboard or mouse button switch instruction is difficult?

Hi, I have seen there are some new hardware that allows to switch between different TOS versions but all of them seem to handle this switch through a pin (so you have to keep the Atari open) or through a external button (so you have to mod the case for it). Why is it difficult to make this TOS switc...

I use W10 as main OS (I had W7) but it has also installed Ubuntu and MAC OS X but only for knowledge and for doing concrete things. So...I voted W10.

Re: Issues copying large number of files

However I find useful if we could have a .prg that allows non plain alphabet symbols file names under TOS... Do the programs need the odd filenames ? Not sure if thats even possible, Though be easier to mass rename files in windows otherwise ? I use software to mass renames files, then you can set ...

Re: Issues copying large number of files

I have done it using Ppera's driver. It is bootable with TOS/DOS partitions. Then I configured windows to make it able to see all the partitions on the SD and then I easily copied all the files from my PC to each partition because under Windows there isn't any problem with non plain alphabet symbols...

Yes...I have read on Atari Documentation Archive that the TT's motherboard can have 8MB Ram and the card another 8MB, so 16MB ST RAM in total...but...in TT Headquarters (where I cannot visit now I don't know why) I read a brochure in german that said 32 MB ST RAM...I suppose it must be a mistake. Re: Homemade FPGA based Amiga Picasso96 clone

On an Amiga, maybe like a Picasso II on a Zorro II bus (A2000). It shares the total amount of memory available through the ZII bus. I think it is 8MB for Fast Ram, and the gfx card memory counts on it.

On the Atari side maybe the pointed ET4000. Maybe Frank.lukas can put some light on it :)
