Re: Wndows mp3 player..

foobar is your best bet... it is a barebones player that is very light on resources. However it is expandable via plugins and scripts. so simple foobar looks like this: http://www.fooblog2000.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/02/foobar2000v09.png but through customization yo ucan make it look like this: h...

Re: Amigas which one?

Amiga 1200.

Its prett easy to install workbench and whdload on you pc using winuae onto a flash card then slot it into the amiga.

The problem is finding accelerators so I can install more ram for whdload....

I can't believe commodore crippled the 1200 to 2mb like that....

Re: Midi Output App

I am sure there are some out there. Try Tim's Atari world and check the section for midi apps. However, off the top of my head I can think of one long way around to achieve what you want. You can use Audiosculpture. Audiosculpture is a tracker and uses the querty keyboard to input notes (that can be...

preparing an Atari HD on an emulator

I was messing with my new A1200 last night and I set up workbench on Winuae first. There are a number of "pre-built" workbench environments available online as hardfiles that can be written to a cf card mounted in winuae as a an Amiga Hd. Then all you have to do is pop it in the amiga. I was wonderi...

Re: maxYMizer vs 1040STFM via monitor out and LCD monitor

is it the scandoubler in the first post you are talking about?

Then its prob low res but just b&w. I read somewhere some adapters allow low res on monitors but only in mono.

If this is the case then maxymiser will work.

If it is ST-High, it won;t work

.acc sndh players?

Hi All, I'm spending more time on my falcy learning to pixel stuff and tracking. I'm on plain tos and since I replaced my internal hd with a flash I no longer have Magic. I have no interest really in multitasking (can't get magic anymore and my 12meg 030 machine prob won't handle mint in any useful ...

very silly Falcon scsi connector question

I lost the scsi cable that came with my Falcon.

I know this is a stupid question, but does any scsi II connector do the job?

I don't remember if it was a special cable

I found the mem box, it shows the allocation of memory, system memory etc but no way to edit it at all. Right, it turns out I'm not a crazy fool after all & you have to click the amount next to 'Request' and the editing cursor appears. If you click anywhere else it returns to th main options. Phew,...

Re: audio sculpture manual

Oh thanks for that Miggymog. that's a real shame, that could have had so much potential. So it basically becomes a 4 track midi sequencer? That actually isn't a terrible thing as I have an Akai sampler. The thing is the reason I wanted a tracker is because of the unique character of the retrigg comm...
