I forgot. I remapped F12 away from Dashboard years ago. If you change the default key for Dashboard (or remove the shortcut key), then F12 will bring up the SDL menu.
Once you bring up the menu, you can change the shortcut key to some other key.

Re: Unable to select any MIDI ports and Midi output path - Mac
hi Max, seems that midi libraries are missing in the official v220 MacOS build. please try with this (tested in High Sierra): https://1drv.ms/f/s!AtGaAPvKqUHEsXZ3Bynk6lE1rvv5 midi port selection is available in both Hatari/Preferences/Peripheral tab and in the SDL GUI. best, Jari Your Hatari downlo...

Re: High density .STX / pastis support
I did not think you were crazy. However, I assumed the AkaiSex program created a standard Atari floppy disk. It does not appear to do so. When I downloaded the AkaiSex program, I was able to read your Pasti (STX) file when I set Hatari to be a Falcon. I could not figure out what to do with the sampl...

Re: High density .STX / pastis support
more playing the .STX file works absolutely fine. the problem is that Hatari does not have an option to enable high density disks in Mega STe mode. In TT and Falcon modes it works absolutely fine. Unfortunately the TT mode runs quite slowly on my Apple, but Falcon is ok. If there could be a checkbo...

It appears an updated macOS binary was uploaded to the Hatari website on 3 February. That version should resolve the problems that some people saw on the original macOS binary of Hatari 2.2.

Re: Hatari 2.2.0 has been released
There appears to be some progress on the macOS Hatari build. The maintainer sent a link to the mailing list of a new build using the SDL 2.0.9 framework. It worked on his Mac that failed before and it worked successfully on my Mac. I am hopeful this new build will be available shortly from the Hatar...

Re: Hatari 2.2.0 has been released
Unfortunately, something is wrong with the macOS version, the image seems zoomed in and only one fourth of the Atari screen is visible. Which MacOS version do you have? Which Mac device? With what kind of a display (type and resolution)? macOS Mojave 10.14.3, 2016 MacBook Pro, Retina display. Hatar...

Re: a simple way to hide all Mist/Mister posts
In my case, it would be great if AF had the ability to select which forums to follow. On AtariAge, I only follow the Atari 8-bit and ST forums. I ignore all of the other forums. It would be great to do the same thing here.

Re: Hatari MIDI for OSX and Windows
Try this URL: http://antarctica.no/~hatari/ I saw a list of Hatari Windows binaries. As to your other question, the devs have been making fixes to Hatari. It sounds like version 2.2 might be released this week. However, right now, it looks like portmidi isn’t included with the Windows binaries. Bob C

Re: Struggling with hard rive images on a Mac
If you want to try the image on Hatari's website on the macOS version, simply change the extension of the image from .image to .img. To try to prevent unknown files from being selected, the file selector only accepts certain extensions. You should be able to use the sample 80MB hard drive image in H...

Which version are you using? The first version had a problem with 4MB of RAM. From other comments, it appears to be working on actual hardware.ama wrote:Nice game on Hatari. But crashes on real hardware (STF, STE, TT) also under STEEM after the intro.

If you at making changes, can you change disabling sound to S? Sometimes, I will press the fire button by mistake and shut off the sound. I do not know if you can also add a key (Esc) to exit the game and go back to the desktop. If that is not possible, that is ok. I have enjoyed playing your game. ...

@KarlH,
This version appears to fix both the resolution bug (having to start in ST Low) and crashing on systems with 4 MB of RAM. I also like the fact that it runs directly from a hard drive. Thanks for changing the game so quickly.

I liked the game. I do hope the game is fixed to handle 4MB of ST-RAM or more. The graphics were very cute. I enjoyed the game and found it very playable. I saw his comments on AtariAge. It confirms the problem I saw in 2.06. Hopefully, he will have time to work on an updated version that works on US TOS 2.06.

@simoncam - Does Frogs have the option to be a single player game? When I bring up the game, it appears that I have to have at least two human players. I am hoping this is not the case.

Has anyone tried on US TOS 2.06 yet? I am curious because I was going to send it to my Atari retrogaming group. Unfortunately, if I use US TOS 2.06, the game will switch to 50Hz but it will lock up when you select the language. Unlike our club president, I do not have an ST at my disposal so I have ...

As far as the first question, stm and stx flies are copy protected images. I do not think they are supported by MIST. I do not own a MIST myself though. I would take the suggestion of the previous poster and use an earlier TOS version. 2.06 had compatibility problems with software that made incorrec...

I would try using the right-click (control-click) and select Open from the contextual menu. You should not get a Gatekeeper eero since you compiled it yourself, but it would not hurt to see if some other message appears.

I just wanted to mention this does not occur on all retina Macs. I just tried EmuTOS and TOS 1.04 on my 2016 Retina MacBook Pro and I see black bars instead of red.
I am also using SDL 2.08 and Hatari 2.1.
