Re: XaAES Background Picture?

It's a quirky feature. Basically you press a key-combination (Control + Alt + ; ) which takes a snapshot of the entire screen and use it as desktop background. So to get a sensible result you must display a picture in fullscreen using ImageCopy, zView or similar and then press this key combination....

XaAES Background Picture?

Anyone have the details on the the XaAES background picture? What format does it need to be? Will it show in the Teradesk desktop? Any pioneers would be appreciated.

Re: Atari TT030 and system V

The easiest way is to attach 50pin scsi controller to your pc and boot some live linux dist. Then just write the image using dd. Sadly, no SCSI on the PC side anywhere. Amiga, Atari, Mac and even my C64! :) Could this be installed on a CF card, I'm using a CF adaptor in my TT. I can image the card ...

Re: Atari TT030 and system V

Guys:

How do I use the Image file on a Mac or PC or maybe even my Falcon running Mint? I have a PC running Windows 7 and a Mac running the latest version of 10. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Re: TT-Ram?

Pulled my Amiga 2000 out of the closet so I could test one SIMM at a time in the working ram board. One bad SIMM in each set of four! Test even if KNOW GOOD! Now have 16MB of TT-RAM in my TT and a TT HIGH resolution display!

I've tried it with both 4MB and 16MB with the appropriate settings. Nothing either way...

I think it may be bad, but just want t be sure before I ask to send it back.

TT-Ram?

I picked up a TT Ram board from AtariFreakz and am having problems with it, my TT doesn't recognize anything. I've got the jumpers on the board set right, used this as a guide:

http://www.zhell.co.uk/ttpage.html

Nothing. No errors, no ram. Am I missing anything?

21lbs in the bag, so 28-30lbs shipped seems more realistic than the 56 I originally thought.
Are you still looking for $350 plus shipping?

Re: RPM over network?

I don't remember ever installing an RPM from the network on my Ataris, so I can't help you much with that. It's possible that the Sparemint version of RPM does not allow network installs, or that some other piece of software is missing. But if FTP works, just download them, and install them locally...

Re: RPM over network?

i would not try to install over the network. It works better if you just download them on to your hard disk and install from there. Well crap, that seemed like it would be very useful. Can I use an FTP client at this point to download the files as some will not fit on floppys! Good guide BTW, thank...

Re: RPM over network?

What is the problem exactly? Where are the RPMs you want to install on your Atari? On one of your machines in your home network? They are on spearmint.org where I've tried both http:// and ftp:// to download and install directly from the internet. I've been working my way through WongCK's guide to ...

Keyboard Issue

Ok, today is the day for strange things. When I run in Mint, all is good. When I boot to TOS, any mode, my keyboard give garbage when I type. Any ideas?

Update: Fixed it by deleting everything from the auto folder and reinstalling SV drivers and nvdi.

Re: SuperVidel + XaAES (modecode config)

OK, I had something strange today. I installed a new monitor that allowed higher resolutions (1920x1080), but if I ran in this mode, the system went nuts. Programs couldn't run, memory violations. Took me a while to straighten it out, and get back to normal. Note, I'm setting my resolution using xaa...
