Re: Phweather - weather app for Mint (new with Forecast !!)

Hmmm... don't think so: mine are from Zview8 dated 2011 EDIT: If I launch it from the shell, I get a "bus error" immediately. If I launch from toswin2 or xaaes, i get a "can't load codec" error (of course codecs are there, since every other program using them works, and even doubleclicking phweather...

oops! double post.
Shame on you, NetSurf, hehe!

Re: 24 & 32 bpp modes

Shoggoth, you're right (of course)!

32bpp works in MiNT/Xaaes! YAY!

probably it isn't worth the effort of making 32bpp work on pure TOS, since
it works beautifully at 16bpp.

Re: Net Surf GEM Port

Same for me with MyAES!

However, I am not able to open it from U: either!

BUT it works if I launch it from TosWin2"start TOS program" and DOESN'T work if I launch it from Xaaes "launch program"

...so weird...

Re: Net Surf GEM Port

OK, but isn't this a little bit... weird?
I mean, why does Teradesk understand what to do and Jinnee and Thing don't if the prg resides on D: (or FAT/VFAT in general)?

Unbelievable! I can only launch the latest builds from TERADESK!
when using Jinnee or Thing... no cigar!

Re: 24 & 32 bpp modes

I currently use MiNT 1.18.0 with Xaaes 1.5.5, NVDI 5.03 with all updates and Jinnee. I made the 32bpp test only in TOS060, though and got the white icons. my sv.inf is: [VDI] ; Settings which affect (N)VDI behavior default = $441c ; Specifies a default resolution if none is specified by the AES ;for...

Re: 24 & 32 bpp modes

Shoggoth, I was starting to answer your questions (I am not near my Falcon right now, but basically: yes, yes, yes, handmade mod, don't remember how to check) :-P However, one line you wrote inspired me, and I set to TRUE the 32bitmode line in SV.inf! I made the switch to a 32bpp mode, AND IT WORKED! Bu...

Re: PH Easy Remote Print - GEM lpr client éèé

WOW! It worked at first launch! woo-hoooo!!! I manages to send a document from Papyrus to my wireless printer (HP8500) using the NVDI driver for the most advanced driver available (HP890 IIRC...) using drag&drop. I would like to use the watchfolder, now, but it didn't work. So, let's see if I did so...

Re: PH Gmap - Google maps, Street View, Routes, GPX & more

OK, after 18 pages read, here's my move :-) Foreword: I suspect there might be something somewhere in my current setup (maybe MiNT, the RAM, or some driver) tha might not be perfectly working. However, all the "old" programs I currently use are fine. Maps only loads from the commandline. the older v...

OK, since I finally have a (net)working CT60 again, here I am with the programs I couldn't use before. PHWheather. Great app!!! Thanks wong. 24 & 32 bpp modes

Hi, all! I have a question about truecolor modes in SuperVidel. By reading the SV.inf file, you see that the 8bit chunky and 24 bit modes are set to false, with the comment that NVDI takes care of them. When I open the videomode dialog, however, the 8bit mode is enabled and the 24 and 32 bit modes a...

Re: Net Surf GEM Port

vido, mono: I don't think it's a desktop problem: I tried with Jinnee and Thing(MiNT 1.18.0) and it's the same. Same again from MiNT1.1.7 It's weird that I have to run a program from the shell and it works. After a little trying with various 2.9 builds, I am finally OK. Don't ask me, since I don't k...

Memory Protection in MiNT: is this the right time?

Hello again! I am checking again if I can finally run in memory pretection mode (MiNT 1.18.0). As of now, it seems that almost everything works. I even managed to have a stable Jinnee desktop... until now. As soon as I tried to copy a file, I got an error, and as soon as I launched ArcView, jinnee c...

mounting unckecked FS

Hi all! While trying my fresh 1.18 install of Mint, I noticed (having set a very verbose logging) that my FAT disks (C, D, E and H) are always mounted as unchecked. I started in TOS mode and made a dosfsck on those units, and even did it from MiNT, but nothing changed. Is that a false message or I n...

Re: SuperVidel + XaAES (modecode config)

workaround #2 is esxactly what I did.
However, this doesn't work under MiNT, right?
I can't access any chres window from xaaes, but I can do under TOS.
What I am missing?

(By the way, this is my very first message sent from my CT60/MiNT1.18/SV/SvethLana)

YAY!

Hi all!
Since I am able to go online (thank you everybody who helped!) I am updating my browser.
I upped NS to the latest and I noticed that something is wrong with the history: it opens a page with the content of the url.db file. what do I miss?
