Re: pmdoom for plain Atari st

does anyone know if there's a version working for 68000? if yes, where i can download it? I did not bother doing a binary 68000 version, because the result would only be usable on an emulator (pacifist, steem, saint...), where you can run the 68000 much faster than 8 MHz. If you have a real 68000, ...

Re: Stability

I believe Patrice used threading to enable sound emulation, and by default, threads will not work under normal TOS, so that kills the chance for sound currently under TOS, but should work under MiNT, no clue about Magic though. I use a thread only in MiNT, to avoid using the MFP and setting up an i...

Not for the moment please

I would just add the this game project has just started. I think I will ask for graphics, audio and game title once I have a working engine. I don't want people to work on something that will never be finished, so wait till it is playable, before working on gfx.

You can tell pampuk ramdisk to quit before running program

Hello, as I got some game packed using pampuk ramdisk saver (+ program runner). I remember there was a key to press to get back to gem. In fact, just press 'ESC' 2 or 3 times while the program is being run (don't use an accelerated emu, or you'll skip the point where the esc key is tested). And you'...

http://paci.game.free.fr/ zuul menus disks.

OK, here is another site where zuul menus are listed. I think a backup could be made there also. The more backups there are, the better.

My list of zuul compilations

Ok, I finished running all the menus in steem, here is the result.
Some menus have same number, some crashed, so I don't know the content, and you can compare against previous list.

Zuul menus game list

Boss have the same missing menus AS I wrote above.. Well, maybe he has found some menus somewhere, because most menus below 100 are present, and I am currently building the menus game list (by running each disk in steem). I will post the complete list there when it is finished (some disks have same...

Re: zuul menus disk on amule/emule

Patto wrote: Will put up details of FTP server in about 10 mins. will add these menus in once finished.
What is missing in the archive is a text file which list the games present on each disk.

Re: Announcing the public release of the Pasti ST Imaging To

Hi thothy, Hi ijor! A little bit off-topic, but do you plan to also release a Linux (or even open-source) version of the Pasti library? Not everybody is using Windows these days... Yes, a Linux library will be released. I'll contact you as soon as I have something for testing. I don't plan in relea...

Re: Help using DirectCD on PC to write an Atari-readable CD-

The only problem is, that it creates a readable disk image here, but my elderly double speed Nec Scsi CDROM at home does not recognise the disk. The problem comes from your CD-ROM drive. If it is too old, it can't read CD-RW medias, even if written in iso9660 format. I experienced this problem by d...

STE hardscroll + overscan

I remember I pass a bunch of time (more than 10 years ago, :-)) trying to do such a thing. I succeeded, but unfortunately, I lost the source (due to non-fiable) floppies. But I can help you a bit. After the right overscan, you need to add a 'stabilizer' that will empty all words prefetched by the sh...
