Re: Won ST game on Ebay Germany - bank transfer only HELP!

Of course not. So I did some more digging. This is the official EU regulation on the subject: http://ec.europa.eu/internal_market/payments/crossborder/index_en.htm . The most important part is: "Regulation (EC) No 2560/2001 on cross-border payments in euro eliminates the difference of price between...

Re: Won ST game on Ebay Germany - bank transfer only HELP!

Ahhh, well, the expenses should be the same as a national money transaction. In the Netherlands national bank transactions are free. So international EU transactions are free too! No they are not... Believe it or not, just because that link came up on the first page of Google hits doesn't necessari...

Re: Won ST game on Ebay Germany - bank transfer only HELP!

Even better: bank transfers are free if both parties are in the Euro zone and the transfer is in Euros. Really? I bought Hard Drivin II from german Ebay some moths ago and I had to pay the bank expenses from my side... Marakatti is right, it's only free *in theory*... In the real world, it only rea...

Re: We need an Atari Demo Site!

ADA is better when you just want to check Amiga stuff. Rephrase: ADA is better when you want to check one of the <700 demos in it's database. In all other cases, it's much less useful (to put it mildly ;)) As for the forum attached, forums are nice but they're a bonus, not the core business of arch...

Re: Re-Mastering the SNDH archive

Any ideas? yep- what you're about to do is rather pointless (sorry to put it so harsh, but it's the truth)... even the best software based soundchip emulators will provide a low quality signal. maybe you can make it a little bit less bad by doing some remastering, but it can never be compared to th...

Re: Sundown 2009 - Sept 11-13th 2009 - Budleigh,Salterton (UK)

i've considered travelling to sundown for a couple years now, but the party is a bit remote for foreigners... practically speaking, there isn't any way to get to the venue and being able to stay for the entire length of the event without taking at least 3 or 4 days off from work. so i ended up visit...

Re: Public Domain Dutch Stichting ST partly online

Good health is the most important thing! For sure! Also, it's much easier to stay away from the unhealthy stuff than I ever imagined before trying to do so. So I can recommend healthy living to anyone :-) I suddenly remember blitzkrieg pizza (dunno why) Yellow_Hot_Colorz_PDT_23 Ah yep- the incident...

concerning the artwork: jpeg artifacts, the out-of-place blur effect on the midget (or whatever it is) and the uneven border around the ocean-style logo look a bit poor. other than that, not bad!

hmm- i don't recall arguing that consistently for sure, it wouldn't make sense because rodolphe's track record is clear: he always delivers (after prepayment a year or 2 ahead of the fact- the only element of rodolphe's enterprise i have argued against on several occasions- could this be the source ...
